  • Excellent Accomodations

"Where do I start? ... everything about this place was great, the location, the tranquility, the owners , the maid. This place had it all, you just simply need to show up.. very short walk to the beach ,you can hear the waves crashing at night, we saw all kinds of birds, butterflies, even Monkeys, it was perfect. The Villa looks better in person than in the pictures. My family of four (10 year old son 15 year old daughter) plus my parents all were more than comfortable and all loved it. Casa Mimosa gets 5 stars , book it, you won't be dissapointed. Thank you Sid and Dawn!"

  • Great Location & Ammenities

"With direct flights courtesy of Westjet; access was a breeze and the condo is a short 1/2 hour drive from the airport. We found the condo to be everything as stated. Owner responded very quickly to all our questions. We met several of the neighbor's in the complex and they were very friendly and helpful. The unit had everything we needed for our vacation including cooler, beach towels, chairs etc. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely vacation home."

  • Family Surf Vacation

"We spent 7 days in playa grande at casa muy grande; we lived the pura vida to the fullest. We comfortably fit 7 adults and 4 kids in the house. The open kitchen and living space was ideal for entertaining and relaxing, while the 2 acres of land, hammocks, pool area and of course the beach gave us plenty of room to spread out. The house management team was super friendly and made fabulous dinners - the guacamole was extraordinary. When we wanted to eat out we had plenty of options within walking distance - we even ventured into Tamarindo for an afternoon, enjoying a great beachfront meal. The days involved waking up early and surfing, lounging at the pool, and more surfing and swimming as the sun dropped into the pacific. We rented surf boards and bogey boards from the local surf shop and everyone did their best learning on the friendly waves. A must do is the estuary boat tour - we walked 10 minutes up the beach to the boats - paid 10 bucks each and saw numerous birds, monkeys and a HUGE alligator. This was a great trip - and the house perfectly suited our needs. We would definitely go back."

  • Wonderful Villa close to beach and town

"We enjoyed our stay at Casa de Valencia - family of 6. This rental was fully equipped - complete kitchen, nice linens, plenty of towels, initial cleaning supplies, quality furniture, great hvac, and a fantastic setting with a small group of homes that share a community pool and grill area. Everyone in the complex was friendly ... and it was a great family setting. Everyone in our family agrees - Perfect place for us! We will definitely book again .... no question. The path to the beach across the street - very short walk .... and is actually the shortest walk to town (5-10 minutes depending on your pace). Don't miss the sunsets at Tamarindo Beach. Beautiful! Along the dirt road to town - easy access to the Super Marcado (grocery store) which we frequented daily. Lots to do in Tamarindo - great shops, restaurants, bars, etc. A must stop: Shrimp Shack along the dirt road. Tiny place .... great food! The maintenance and security staff at the complex were very helpful, friendly and diligent. The after-hours check-in process was very simple."
