  • wonderful winter getaway

"This house is perfect for a relaxing, quiet vacation. Just minutes from Coco, beach a few steps away, and a private pool too. It is an easy ride from the airport in Liberia, and many sites and tours are close by. Our concierge, Laura, was so helpful. She arranged our rental car, a river tour, and was available to help us in any way. Edwin was wonderful to work with, if there is an issue, he promptly takes care of it. Thanks for a wonderful time"

  • Pura Vida!

"As most travelers know, booking a vacation is one of the most joyous events one can experience… with anticipation growing each and every time you mark a day closer on your calendar. My experience however was not what you would call the normal run of the mill. I decided to embrace my inner spontaneity - I purchased my plane ticket on a Tuesday and flew out the following Thursday for a 4 day retreat with other friends. With some luck, we were able to secure Villa Oasis, which lives up to its’ name in glorious fashion. Secluded within the mountains of Potrero, the Villa Oasis beholds some of the most breathtaking views. From majestic foothills to the Pacific Ocean, both can be seen from the exquisite wraparound veranda, and stunning infinity pool. Moving inside, this Villa exhibits its grace with luxurious furnishings, oversized bedrooms ( having their own private bathrooms), and large glass paneled windows allowing you to enjoy the extraordinary views from practically every room in the house. Now, my primary focus of this trip was to rest, relax, and recharge from the everyday stresses we are so inclined to deal with. With the assistance from the wonderful caretakers Miguel and Maria, I was able to fully enjoy each and every day to the fullest, whether it was spent at the local beaches (Playa Potrero or Playa Flamingo), or indulging in some of the best Costa Rican cuisine… I personally recommend Coco Loco’s or The Beach House as both possess diverse menus and the waterfront dining experience. What else can I say other than this trip had exceeded my wildest dreams and expectations. Even if it’s for only a few days, I cannot wait until I can call this beautiful residence in paradise, my home again and again !"

  • Very nice house located close to all the fun!

"We really enjoyed our stay at Ora del Sol! The house was very nice and the kitchen was well stocked. The furniture was very comfortable inside and out. We all found the beds to be very comfortable. Every bedroom had its own bathroom and there was an additional half-bath located in the main hallway. The property management representative, Kate, was absolutely fantastic and helped us with getting settled and made some fantastic dining and tour recommendations. The house is situated on top of a very steep hill. You can definitely walk in to town, but this may be difficult to some. Taxi rides from this property to anywhere in town are a flat rate of $5 USD which made it very easy to get around when we didn't want to drive our car. We had a family of monkeys visit us in the backyard on two separate occasions along with lots of other creatures. The pool was very nice; however it only receives sunlight in the morning and very early afternoon, this wasn't an issue for us as we found it great fun all day and night. The house was in a very safe area. In addition, the house had a very nice alarm system and a safe. There are several restaurant and bar options that were incredibly tasty very close. We will be back!"

  • Beautiful house!

"We had a group of 8 friends stay at Casa Ohana and we loved every minute of it! It is even more beautiful than the pictures. Mary and the staff were wonderful and very accommodating. We would highly recommend the in house masseuses. We liked them so much we had them come back a 2nd time. We enjoyed several adventures during our stay in Costa Rica and just hanging around Casa Ohana was a definite highlight. We were surprised to find out the severity of the drought they have had in that region and how important water conservation is at Casa Ohana. They did provide drinking water but all other water use in the house had to be limited. It did not change our enjoyment of the house, but is something to be aware of. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again!"
