  • Great spot, lot's of room to spread out and relax!

"Steve was great to deal with from the start! Answered lots of questions and provided great info on the area - before we had booked. We had two families staying 4 adults and 5 girls, and there was plenty of room with the extra cabin across the road. Whatever you do, hire Jackie for the week. She is a great cook, and not having to worry about shopping and prep made the days much easier. We've only been home a couple days, but miss it already!"

  • Great location, great setup

"We've stayed in this complex several times and will be sure to return. Woody is great, check in and out is a breeze. The full timers are very welcoming. The beach access is second to none. It helps that Bar Olgas is just a short walk down the beach. My wife spent her day at yoga and I spent my days fishing. Always have great success fishing with my great friend Capt Chimpi. You won't be disappointed. A vehicle is recommended."

  • Enchanting location!

"Our group recently returned home from our stay at Casa Sonita. It was an unforgettable experience. The accommodations blew us away!! The house is extremely well-kept, spacious, and inviting. Every morning we made coffee and headed outside to sip and watch the monkeys stretch their limbs. It was mesmerizing to say the least. The proximity to the beach is unbeatable. In the morning we would swing by Coconut Harry's to pick up boards on our short walk to the beach... and in the evenings we would stop at Beach Dog Café (also located right in between the beach and the house). One afternoon we took an ATV to La Luna -- the view of the ocean from our table was breathtaking! Highly recommend scoping that out on your visit! Without hesitation- BOOK THIS HOUSE! You will fall in love!! We are already looking at our calendar to reserve dates for 2017!!"

  • Beautiful, Affordable Home with Spectacular Views!

"My husband and I stayed at this beautiful property for one week in April during the dry season and it was truly not long enough. While the roads leading to Nosara are rough and challenging, they have kept the small towns of Nosara and Guiones tucked away and undeveloped. It truly is an escape away from it all. The house was well-equipped, well-maintained, and offered at a very reasonable price. The wildlife (Howler monkeys, coatimundi, array of birds, and more), sunsets, and views of the Nosara and Montana Rivers as they join the Pacific Ocean were beyond spectacular. We loved relaxing around the beautiful, warm infinity pool. The beaches are gorgeous and we enjoyed visiting Nosara, Peleda, Garza, Guiones, and Samara. Peleda and Guiones do not have much shade but there are palm trees on the others. There's a small bike shop in Guiones that rents beach chairs, umbrellas, and coolers. We highly recommend hiking the trails at the entrance to the Biological Reserve, which is very close to the house near the Nosara River and the trails right near the house that lead down to Playa Peleda. We found a wide array of pretty shells and huge sand dollars hiking down Nosara Beach at low tide. We took surfing lessons on Guiones, which was perfect for beginners at low tide. We enjoyed eating breakfasts at Cafe Paris in Guiones, the local tico-style food at Rancho Tico, and dinner at La Luna (get the Greek humus appetizer - yummy!). While Carl and Cathy were not at the house during our stay, we felt comfortable with Alex and Alejandro, who checked in on us and were there if we needed anything. Don't forget to feed their family of goats across the street. We highly recommend the house!"
