  • Great spot, lot's of room to spread out and relax!

"Steve was great to deal with from the start! Answered lots of questions and provided great info on the area - before we had booked. We had two families staying 4 adults and 5 girls, and there was plenty of room with the extra cabin across the road. Whatever you do, hire Jackie for the week. She is a great cook, and not having to worry about shopping and prep made the days much easier. We've only been home a couple days, but miss it already!"

  • Everything we were hoping for

"The stay at the Belitza was wonderful. Ed was more than willing to arrange anything we needed for us and our group and had all the area info we needed. The house was perfect for our group and we surfed, beach, pool every day along with a few day excursions. We will most certainly return. It was obvious the owners have taken the time to keep the house up to date and in full working order along with necessary little things like lanterns and lights for when the power might go out. The trek down to the beach was a quick and easy and opened up right to the surf spot. the waters edge was gentle enough for the whole family. Only downside was what we called "the death tile" outside in back by the table which with wet feet all of the kids took a spill on on day one, even the adults came close. Luckly we found some yoga mats that obviously were used to remedy this danger but we could have used a few more. Worth noting this tile usage is common on patios on costa and just wanted to put the info out there to find the the mats and put them down on day one. We hired a housekeeper to come help clean up everyday and it was worth every cent. All in all we will be back to the Belitza and it wont be soon enough! Thanks again to the owners, Ed and all of the friendly locals and expats of Guiones. Pura Vida"

  • Great location, great setup

"We've stayed in this complex several times and will be sure to return. Woody is great, check in and out is a breeze. The full timers are very welcoming. The beach access is second to none. It helps that Bar Olgas is just a short walk down the beach. My wife spent her day at yoga and I spent my days fishing. Always have great success fishing with my great friend Capt Chimpi. You won't be disappointed. A vehicle is recommended."

  • Beautiful, Affordable Home with Spectacular Views!

"My husband and I stayed at this beautiful property for one week in April during the dry season and it was truly not long enough. While the roads leading to Nosara are rough and challenging, they have kept the small towns of Nosara and Guiones tucked away and undeveloped. It truly is an escape away from it all. The house was well-equipped, well-maintained, and offered at a very reasonable price. The wildlife (Howler monkeys, coatimundi, array of birds, and more), sunsets, and views of the Nosara and Montana Rivers as they join the Pacific Ocean were beyond spectacular. We loved relaxing around the beautiful, warm infinity pool. The beaches are gorgeous and we enjoyed visiting Nosara, Peleda, Garza, Guiones, and Samara. Peleda and Guiones do not have much shade but there are palm trees on the others. There's a small bike shop in Guiones that rents beach chairs, umbrellas, and coolers. We highly recommend hiking the trails at the entrance to the Biological Reserve, which is very close to the house near the Nosara River and the trails right near the house that lead down to Playa Peleda. We found a wide array of pretty shells and huge sand dollars hiking down Nosara Beach at low tide. We took surfing lessons on Guiones, which was perfect for beginners at low tide. We enjoyed eating breakfasts at Cafe Paris in Guiones, the local tico-style food at Rancho Tico, and dinner at La Luna (get the Greek humus appetizer - yummy!). While Carl and Cathy were not at the house during our stay, we felt comfortable with Alex and Alejandro, who checked in on us and were there if we needed anything. Don't forget to feed their family of goats across the street. We highly recommend the house!"
