  • Great Memories Made

"This was our first time to Nosara and after much searching for a home that would fit 14 (adults and children) perfectly; this was the place! Thank you for sharing your amazing home with us. We made so many amazing memories in this beautiful area! The kids enjoyed the pool most days as it was very hot! The ocean was great as well and the short walk was great! Rebecca was very helpful as well! The monkeys were definetlty the alarm clock in the early a.m. but that was ok as we would get up a be at beach by 6:30--it is beautiful! I would recommend if you are flying in from Liberia to take advantage of the grocery shoppimg that Rebecca will do for you. We didn't arrive to the house until 6:00 p.m. and it was so nice to have food there as everyone was hungry. One and only recommendation I would make is a new grill as the handle fell off for us the refrigerator seemed to cool some days better than others and the top shelf was broke when we got there so did not put much on this as we did not want it to fall apart. Air in the whole place would be nice but at least it was in the bedrooms! I would recommend this place to anyone! Love the location as well! Again, Thank you Cornwell's!"

  • Amazing Place for Family Retreat

"My group of five - three sisters, two boyfriends - rented the Paraisito for a week in March. The place is outstanding and we really appreciated the amenities, including the air conditioning. The pool and outdoor dining area, coupled with the security and secluded-yet-close-to-everything location were perfect for us. The pictures on the website do not do this place justice - trust me - it's super nice! The only negatives are that we couldn't get the grill to work - and two of us are chefs - so it just smoldered for an hour before we went inside to use the oven. And, due to a town-wide water restriction, we didn't have water in the house from 4 pm - 8 am. Nothing to do with the property team, just something to be aware of if you visit Costa Rica during the end of the dry season. The management team, both Virginie and Erika are amazing and super helpful. There's a white binder in the house with everything you need to know about enjoying your time in Nosara and we found it extremely helpful. Cannot recommend this place and this team enough."

  • Great Villa for a Nosara Surf Adventure

"Dear Dave - Many thanks as we enjoyed our 8-day stay at the Four Winds Villas!!! The villa was well-appointed and we were comfortable immediately. We went surfing everyday and the the short, five minute walk to the beach allowed us to maximize our time in the surf at Playa Guiones. Your property manager, Rebeca, helped us to arrange for a fishing trip and ATV tours to a cattle ranch and snorkeling in San Juanillo. During our fishing trip we caught a beautiful dorado and a red snapper, which we were able to cook and enjoy using the grill and nice kitchen. Our boys (ages 7 and 9) loved the pool, and it was a perfect way for all of us to relax and refresh after a surf session and during the afternoon heat. The groundskeeper, Jorge, was so pleasant and we enjoyed practicing our Spanish with him. We also loved that the villa is centrally located and we were able to explore the entire Nosara area with ease. We went to Olga's on our last night to watch the sunset and enjoy some cold Imperials and Pilsens - spectacular!!! This was our first trip to Costa Rica and we had a great time surfing, fishing, exploring, and our "downtime" at the villa. We cannot wait to return. Pura Vida!!!"

  • "We're kinda staying at a mansion"

"Our group of 10 loved Villa Bellitza. When invited to stay out at a beach party, one member of our group said, "No thanks, I'm kinda staying at a mansion." Most people in our crew surfed throughout the day, and the private jungle path to the beach was an asset. No coordination necessary. Want to surf? Walk down the path, and you're there. On the path we saw monkeys and crabs. At the house, we had visitors including iguanas, a coati, raccoons, armadillos, and birds. The house has plenty of room to spread out, hide from the sun, and hide from one another if necessary. Also, the plethora of outdoor seating and an inviting pool area drew the majority of the crew throughout the day. I didn't think the pool would be important. It was. It is HOT in the middle of the day, and the pool was the lifeline. Town water shortages meant that water was turned off from about 6pm-7am, but you get used to it. Tried to sleep without using the A.C. but eventually caved. The A.C.s do a decent job cooling down the rooms, but especially the downstairs of the junior suite. House is walkable to a variety of restaurants and bars, and makes for a fantastic home base. On a couple of days, I never left "the compound." Ed is a great property manager who helped us to coordinate a chef for the group - meals for the group of 10 were $100 (chicken meal) and $120 (fish) - definitely recommended."
