  • Fabulous Ladies Getaway

"We had a WONDERFUL 50th birthday celebration with 16 ladies at Villa Parasio! The property has an amazing view and the set up of the house was perfect for 16 ladies with each bedroom having it's own bathroom. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out with multiple seating options outside. The breakfast prepared by Rosa was delicious and she changed up the menu almost everyday. The road up to the house is very steep. Highly recommend using a taxi to go up and down the hill unless you are looking for a great workout. Rebecca was great to work with in booking the reservation and very responsive. Marcelo and Fiorella were excellent concierges. They were engaged right after we booked our stay helping with airport transportation, chef services, welcome baskets, restaurant and tour recommendations and coordinating massages for the group. The weather was beautiful in February, not too hot, not too humid (it was, however, very windy). The town of Tamarindo Bay itself was very lovely with plenty of shopping, dining and excursion options. We were a group of sisters, mothers, cousins, friends, aunts, nieces and daughters all looking for a great place to unplug and recharge. The Villa Parasio in Tamarindo was the perfect place to accomplish this."

  • Beautiful and well maintained!

"We had a family of 7 stay at Casablanca on June 11-18, 2016. The property grounds were lovely and very clean. It was comforting to have a security guard on the grounds. Upon entering the villa it was quite impressive, with beautiful amenities and fully equipped! Although we did not have a view of the beach, it was right across the street! The iguanas, crabs, howler monkeys, and birds on and around the property was an added delight! Walking to town was a daily short venture with cute little shops and great restaurants. We would definitely recommend staying at this villa. Also the property management group was very helpful. Thank you, Syd and Lynn!"

  • Lovely property with amazing view

"Our party of 10 had a great visit at Casa Holmes. Nita is very easy to work with and the local management company was very helpful. We found the area very easy to navigate and took unguided excursions to Rio Perdido (zip lining and thermal pools) and Tamarindo (surfing lessons). We are had 2 great days of fishing with Papagayo Sport Fishing. Rocio's Kitchen prepared a lovely meal for us upon our arrival - making our travel day and getting set in the house very easy. The home has everything you might need for a big group...ample sleeping spaces, plenty of towels, and a well furnished kitchen. Other reviews note a very steep is! - but not a problem at all (get an automatic if you rent a car and are not an expert with manual's part of the fun!!)."

  • Wonderful Location!!! BEAUTIFUL VIEW!!!!

"Just got back from a week in Tamarindo, Costa Rica at the beautiful Diria Condo. There were two couples, and was so nice for each of us to have a master suite! Perfect Location... We could walk Tamarindo Beach, around to Playa Longusta Beach, take the boat across ($1 each way) and walk on Playa Grande Beach (be sure to take water with you and LOTS of sunscreen). The views were just beautiful from the balcony. The sunset photos I took with my cell phone on the beach were just beautiful, though pretty sunset from the balcony. The first morning that the "nature alarm clock" went off I sat up straight in the bed and screamed (and hit my husband awake). Sounded like an old furnace in a horror movie, but ran out to the balcony to see it was the howler monkeys playing in the trees and eating some type of berries off of it. There were around 5 that hung out there each morning (one with a baby that was fun to watch play). They did leave a gift of poop on our lower balcony... LOL!!!! The condo did have everything we needed... Joel even got us an ice chest before we arrived and we used it every day (the Imperial Light is close to taste of Coors Lite and the Lemon Rock is close to Bud Light Lime). Also you can get Cokes, Fanta, bottles of water, milk, etc. at the grocery store (and bags of ice). The worst thing was the 106 steps from the pool/town level, up to the top bedroom. I did thankfully prepare for the trip by going to the local hospital 3 weeks prior and started walking their stairs. Otherwise after the first day there I would not have been able to walk... LOL!!! HINT... DO IT!!! We rented a car from Dollar Car Rental (they picked us up at the airport and shuttled us to their place to pick up the car). Got a 4-wheel drive SUV. As you will read, it is true that a lot of the roads are not paved, dirt, rocks, and we were so thankful for the SUV, but never had to use the 4-wheel drive. We drove to Borinquen and did their 2-in-1 Adventure for $60. 4-wheeler ride (or horses), overlook, waterfalls, and best 12 ziplines in the world! From condo could walk to everything in town. Lots of places to eat. Even went in the casino for 30 minutes and our group won $675!!!! The beach is beautiful, but there is a riptide, so be careful! The Costa Rican people were so nice and we made some new friends who begged us to come back!!! You MUST go visit Costa Rica!!!"
