The owners, Jeisha and Marcos, couldn’t be any better as hosts. They maintain the property in spotless condition and provide just about anything a guest could need. A lovely pool, nice places to relax, a self-catering kitchen area with a stove, fridge, and all the implements necessary to cook with. The property is very secure and private parking is provided. Many delicious restaurants are nearby and the hosts are happy to provide recommendations. A fabulous spot to relax and unwind although excellent WiFi is available throughout the property.

This was the most elegant of the many short-term rentals we’ve visited. The kitchen and bathrooms (1 full, 1 half—nice!) were beautifully designed and built. Appliances were quite new and high-end.Playa Grande is a small and peaceful beach community, except for the construction—lots of luxury homes going up, understandably.We would prefer if VRBO policy provided for earlier confirmation and instruction on checking in. Three days pre-reservation is a bit of a nail-biter.

The house was large and provided more than we needed. It was comfortable, and the beach was flat and walkable. The outdoor seating could be improved, and the neighbors have barking dogs, but the price was right and the area was beautiful.

The house was perfect for our family of five. My husband and I with our three young adult children. Walking distance to the beach and a few cafes/restaurants. The busier beach and town of Tamarindo is a short boat ride away. A little bit further by taxi but not bad. The house itself provided a ping pong table and cornhole boards for fun and a peaceful pool for relaxing. The separate bedrooms were perfect for our grown kids to each have their own space. Kristi was fantastic to work with and provided guidance on who to call and what adventures to explore. Highly recommend.

We feel very fortunate to have stayed at this place for our Christmas vacation! The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, yet within walking distance to Playa Grande. It is also very close to restaurants, groceries, and stores, with enough supplies for you to cook your own meals. The self-check-in process went smoothly. Dan is a very knowledgeable host and gave us good advice on local things to do. If you want to have a relaxed vacation, this is the place I would recommend because it can make you feel at home~

Highly recommend this vacation rental! We had such a great time in Casa Surf! Keith and his team at GVR had everything ready for us & were able to set up all of our excursions and even arrange the transportation. Playa Grande is such a cool little beach town. You are literally a 20 second walk from the most beautiful beach I have ever seen, The beach was great for surfing, long morning strolls and the sunsets are breathtaking. The entire town pretty much gathers at the beach every evening to watch the sun go down with a beer or cocktail in hand. My favorite part of this vacation was that I didn't need a car. The house is next to the town's small beach club which has sushi, burgers, salads, a bar and a small store. Just down the street is the RipJack Inn which was our favorite restaurant in town and had the best happy hour ever! The house itself is perfect vacation house…you walk into the sound of the cascading waterfall feature in the pool. The main house has a huge great room so everyone can comfortably hang out together and there is a very well equipped kitchen. The master has it's own private bathroom with a huge shower and there are 2 other bedrooms that share a second bathroom. There are also 2 separate smaller units which are like "in-law" suites. Both have their own kitchen, bathroom and plenty of room to sleep a family of four. This is the perfect set up for families or groups and creates spaces that are more private and allow for some quiet time.

I cannot overstate how great this place isBand how great this VRBO experience was. I was hesitant to write a review because I do not want anyone else to stay there. Thank you for an amazing stay. Thank you Ali, Kristi, Doug and Alvaro. We are now homesick. :-) See you all again soon.
