  • Amazing Vacation at Cass Pelicano!

"Casa Pelicano was the perfect home away from home for our family! Short walk to the beach and close to great restaurants. We were please to learn there was a Consierge, Kristie, who was always a available for questions and very helpful in setting up some tours for us. Hazel and Kim made sure we had everything we needed. It was a very memorable trip. We highly recommend staying here!"

  • Our Paradise, Pura Vida

"Casa Carole is our home away from home in Playa Grande, Costa Rica. We have enjoyed renting It at least 4 times and share our love for it on Trip Advisor only after securing our 2 month rental for 2018. The house is one of 6 situated around a swimming pool where neighbors can cool off and socialize. It is the most secluded of the 6 homes. Take a picturesque 10 minute walk to the beautiful beach, continue for 3-6 mile long walks on the sand. Enjoy swimming, surfing, snorkeling, and fishing. Casa Carole is continually updated by its very conscientious owner, well maintained by its industrious managers, and features beautiful gardens meticulously cared for by its very friendly gardener. Comfortable king beds, great furniture for relaxing indoors and outdoors, fully supplied kitchen, barbecue grill, and hammock are among the many features. Awake in the morning to the sounds of singing birds and howler monkeys! We have enjoyed sharing Casa Carole with family and good friends visiting Costa Rica on their vacations. There is plenty of space. There are good restaurants within a 5 minute walk from the house and others within a 10 minute drive. In addition to Playa Grande, there are many other unique beaches within a 40 minute radius. Enjoy local trails for hiking and finding monkeys or canoeing on the estuary with a guide to find crocodiles, more monkeys and birds. Go to a bull fight where the bull does not get hurt! Take advantage of the many available day trips from Playa Grande. Visit Monteverde! Alice The"

  • A perfect family gathering spot

"We had a great Christmas vacation with our kids and grandkids. The apartments were well appointed for cooking meals and enjoying meals together. The casitas allowed each family to have their own space. The pool was clean and a good size. It was shady and lovely to spend time after the beach. The beach, though a five minute walk, was perfect for little kids and surfers alike. Howler monkeys in the beautiful big trees surrounding the property and lots of birds."

  • Secluded, Safe and Tranquil...

"yet close to everything you could want in Costa Rica. My wife and I have been travelling to Costa Rica frequently over the past 15 years, always in Guanacaste from Tamarindo to Playa Del Coco and this was the best location yet. Close to the bustling Tamarindo beach for world-class fishing and the beachy night life, but far enough (just a few minute drive though) to feel away from it all in this Playa Grande villa. Its location is quiet, within a gated, small enclave and its own less populated, even secluded, beaches and business district (meaning a store or two for anything you'd need, good restaurants and beach/surf shops). Perfect for a romantic getaway or a family jaunt; it'll fit the bill for either. Richard is as prompt and easy to deal with as any owner you'll deal with and he/his team are wonderfully helpful with trip planning. You can rent bikes, boards or horses within walking distance and there's never much traffic - another big plus as opposed to Tamarindo, if that matters to you. We also tried the in-villa chef visit with "Ander" (ask your concierge) and it was a fabulous experience with amazing food - lobster bisque and swordfish with a bacon wrap over risotto... it rivals a higher-end, big city fine dining experience, presentation included... but cozier. Great service and when they're done, you wont see a sign they were even there!! They clean everything, put away left overs and you do nothing but enjoy the dinner - I had them deliver a local flower arrangement too - this is one time, you wont know you're in a third world country - excellent experience! The Villa is more than enough for a couple with plenty of space to spare and would be great for a family too giving everyone plenty of room to spread out and relax. The fully stocked kitchen has all the features you'd want and like all of the rooms, plenty of beautiful wood cabinetry to hide away all your stuff. Large bedrooms throughout with a beautiful master and accompanying well-sized master bath. Everything is super clean and the management service is readily available with just a phone call. Ceiling fans and cool air moving well throughout the villa after a hot day on the ocean or beach with air conditioning units in each room (important for us as we keep it pretty cool). Overall, very serene location, beautiful, secure and private villa just a short walk from pristine beach, and laid back atmosphere all over town... Pura Vida awaits you @ Richard's Playa Grande Villa."
