Wonderful Beach house Getaway
"If you are looking for an amazing house literally right on the beach then you've come to the right place. House is very modern, has AC, Wi-Fi, TV, and a car port. A home away from home if you will! My favorite part was waking up every morning and sliding that glass door open to see the ocean right there. Honestly one of the best places to watch an epic sunset. 10/10 would definitely go again! Thanks Villa Siempre!"

"We had a wonderful vacation on the beach at this lovely home. Shawna was great to work with coordinating the vacation. 2 families, 4 adults and 5 kids, plenty of room. Right on the beach, able to surf at 6AM and still able to just walk in and have breakfast. We did have Leti cook for us. Traditional Costa Rican food, no worry about planning or cleaning up afterward. Really made it a relaxing vacation. Truly the best location on the beach. Before 10 AM the beach is nearly empty with just some walkers. Easy 30 minute walk to the black sand beach (wear Keen's). Great beach to play on, fly a kite (sort of gusty wind),throw frisbee, play soccer or go for a run. A couple of bikes to borrow. 3 boogie boards to use. We rented surf boards and got lessons from Frijoles Locos and they were awesome. Massage on the beach right in front of the home. Lay in a hammock, take a nap and watch the sunset. We didn't have a vehicle, just took a shuttle from Liberia. We will return and would stay here if available."

"You couldn't ask for a better location, right on the beach and truly a fantastic view so peaceful. The water is wonderfully warm and clear. We had usage of Greg and Daniella's personal home, it is awesomely appointed throughout. They have an excellent staff who made our stay seamless as we felt right at home. We enjoyed cocktails and conversation with Greg and Daniella who felt more like long time friends than landlords. We plan on returning and look forward in sharing a pitcher of margaritas!"

"yet close to everything you could want in Costa Rica. My wife and I have been travelling to Costa Rica frequently over the past 15 years, always in Guanacaste from Tamarindo to Playa Del Coco and this was the best location yet. Close to the bustling Tamarindo beach for world-class fishing and the beachy night life, but far enough (just a few minute drive though) to feel away from it all in this Playa Grande villa. Its location is quiet, within a gated, small enclave and its own less populated, even secluded, beaches and business district (meaning a store or two for anything you'd need, good restaurants and beach/surf shops). Perfect for a romantic getaway or a family jaunt; it'll fit the bill for either.
Richard is as prompt and easy to deal with as any owner you'll deal with and he/his team are wonderfully helpful with trip planning.
You can rent bikes, boards or horses within walking distance and there's never much traffic - another big plus as opposed to Tamarindo, if that matters to you. We also tried the in-villa chef visit with "Ander" (ask your concierge) and it was a fabulous experience with amazing food - lobster bisque and swordfish with a bacon wrap over risotto... it rivals a higher-end, big city fine dining experience, presentation included... but cozier. Great service and when they're done, you wont see a sign they were even there!! They clean everything, put away left overs and you do nothing but enjoy the dinner - I had them deliver a local flower arrangement too - this is one time, you wont know you're in a third world country - excellent experience!
The Villa is more than enough for a couple with plenty of space to spare and would be great for a family too giving everyone plenty of room to spread out and relax. The fully stocked kitchen has all the features you'd want and like all of the rooms, plenty of beautiful wood cabinetry to hide away all your stuff. Large bedrooms throughout with a beautiful master and accompanying well-sized master bath. Everything is super clean and the management service is readily available with just a phone call. Ceiling fans and cool air moving well throughout the villa after a hot day on the ocean or beach with air conditioning units in each room (important for us as we keep it pretty cool).
Overall, very serene location, beautiful, secure and private villa just a short walk from pristine beach, and laid back atmosphere all over town... Pura Vida awaits you @ Richard's Playa Grande Villa."
