  • PERFECT home

"We were 15 people staying in the home for a week. It easily fit all of us and then some - such a spacious home and property. The home is so, so beautiful and we really enjoyed spending time out by the pool. The cleaning service was great and the entire home was clean and well-stocked. Really, only have great things to say about the home. Additionally, Marcelo and everyone at Blue Water helped make our trip truly special. He made coordinating transportation easy, as we arranged pick up/drop off at the airport in addition to taxi services to Tamarindo and Playa Flamingo. He also helped us coordinate trips to Hacienda Guachepelin and on a catamaran boat expedition. We also were able to eat dinner watching the sunset on the beach thanks to his help. He made this trip easy and beyond memorable. So, the house is great and the opportunities that come with the house are great too. I would highly recommend this home to anyone - it will make your stay in Costa Rica very memorable!"

  • Beautiful Home

"We have been vacationing in Costa Rica since the mid 80's and been to Nosara before but this was our first time in this beautiful home! Tucked away in the hills gave us plenty privacy and put us in the middle of the jungle with plenty of wildlife to see. The house was very well appointed, very clean and well kept. The pool was beautiful and had magnificent views of the ocean and sunset. On previous visits to Nosara, we would go down to the beach to watch the sunset every night but with the amazing views from the house, we only went to the beach for sunset two out of our 11 nights! Just a quick 5 minute drive to town and the beach! We loved this house so much that we will be willing to change the dates of our trip next time if necessary to stay at this house."

  • A vacation to remember

"Just returned from 12 fabulous days at Playa Conchal and this beautiful condo. Could not have been happier with the condo or Reserva Conchal. The beach and amenities at the beach club were world class. The water was beautiful and warm. The condo was excellent. Very well appointed, extremely comfortable, and the view is spectacular. Not to mention it was spotless. I was very surprised by the amount of quality restaurants within 10 minutes by car. Not counting Tamarindo that is 20 minutes away. We would come off the beach and eat lunch at the club and went out at night and never came close to a bad meal. A car was important to us. Driving was not a problem and we always felt safe when we were out. Melissa could not have been more helpful. The owners are a pleasure to work with. For our family it was a perfect blend of relaxation and activity. We are already planning our return trip!"

  • Idyllic beach house, with miles of pristine beach

"This house is a special place. It is a carefully decorated house, with a backyard garden that leads you to a pristine 3-mile long semi-private beach. Playa Grande, which is separated by an estuary from the much more crowded and touristy Playa Tamarindo. Interestingly enough, hardly anyone from Playa Tamarindo crosses over to Playa Grande, as far as we could tell. So, you end up on Playa Grande with a beautiful expanse of beach, with hardly anyone around. It's lovely. My wife, 15-year old son, and I just returned from a fantastic week at Casa Baula. The house is well-appointed and maintained. Compared to our many short-term rental stays in northern California, this house had the most well stocked kitchen we've seen. Nice pots and pans, tons of dishes and glassware, the classic Osterizer blender powering through the ice cubes in our guanabana and passion fruit smoothies. We felt very comfortable making all of our breakfasts and lunches in the house, and a few dinners as well. The services for the house are a real plus. The caretaker is always available by cell, and was happy to meet us at the house at 11 pm because our flight was delayed. As a retired professional chef, he even bakes delicious baguettes and croissants and delivers them in the morning to the house-- how cool is that! Cleaning staff spiffs up the house 3x per week, and it looks like the front and back yards are done weekly. The concierge service that the owners connect you with make the entire vacation a turnkey operation. They set you up with your rental car, airport transportation, and all your tours. All of that worked out flawlessly for us-- everything on time and very enjoyable. Since the concierge works out of the local surf shop, about a mile from the house, we had easy access to tons of surf boards. Paddle boarding at playa grande I would only do at low tide on a calm day, unless you're comfortable with waves. At this time of year, when the surf conditions aren't perfect, but still good, we quickly figured out the early morning high tide was good for surfing, and the low tide was fine for boogie boarding and walks on the beach. AC in the house worked great. The ping pong table was great fun-- even the paddles were in good condition. Wifi worked fine-- the master BR was sometimes a dead spot, but hey, you're in Costa Rica so you should be disconnecting a bit anyway. Very nice to have a full washer and dryer. We used the outdoor gas grill for a few dinners--worked great."
