  • Perfect Adventure

"The place is gorgeous! Exactly like the photos. The entrance is grand and the house is huge!! It was so comfortable. I'm going to break this review down into as many sub-sections as I can so that reviewers can have an overall perspective of the property. I stayed for a week with 8 other adults. All 5 bedrooms were utilized. There are 4 in the main home, and 1 little casita (think guest house) behind the home on the property. PROS: The grandeur and the beauty was a huge plus for our group. Location was great close to beaches, on a golf course, centrally located to other towns. HOWEVER, rent a car or golf carts - depending on what you plan to do on vacation. The compund/reserve that the golf course is located on is huge, so going to the beach house, etc can be a long walk. Going off the reserve is not possible without a car. The home is in Tamrindo beach but closer to Playa Avellana, which is gorgeous and known for its surfs! Another bonus pro, the house is technically not handicap accessible; however, my friend who has limited mobility and uses a wheel chair was able to stay in one of the bedrooms on the lower level of the home, with entrance through the garage with no problems. He was able to comfortable get around the interior and exterior of the home in his chair. Royce was so easy to work with! Totally accommodating and very responsive to any questions or needs we had! CONS: It is a Caribbean location be prepared for things outside of your control, like random losses of water or power. (We can be so spoiled with life's luxuries) The home advertises as coming with house keeping everyday, but be flexible in your interpretation of that. Remember, you're in a villa, a private home, not a hotel! Keeping that theme in mind, pack all toiletries and other necessities you may need. The home had very limited selection of seasonings and condiments for food. We had to buy everything, food in Costa Rica is not cheap. But with these as the only cons, I'll take it! Already planning a return trip :)"

  • A wonderful relaxing vacation

"Having just returned from a wonderful ten-day stay at Casa de li Loma and having had a chance to reflect back on our time spent in Costa Rica, I thought I would write a review. When we decided to visit Costa Rica for the first time, we were looking for several things. While we wanted to be pampered, we wanted to get away from the crowds at the typical all-inclusive resort. Casa de li Loma was the perfect getaway for two couples that wanted some pampering and privacy. I love that the only thing you can hear are the waves crashing on the rocks below, the birds, and the occasional monkey; no people, no cars. Ana and Freddie took great care of us. She's a fantastic chef and prepared some wonderful meals for us every day. At Jacque's recommendation, we hooked up with Captain Bob Carson of the Pez Vela a short 30-minute drive north in Playa Garza and had a great day of fishing, bringing home a 45-pound Mahi which Ana cooked to perfection multiple times during our stay. While we did some ziplining and visiting Carillo Beach and Samara, most of our days were spent just relaxing in the pool or under the gazebo. It was a great time to relax and the time went by quickly. Having read most of the reviews, I can tell you they are spot on about the property, Ana, and the area. We can't wait to do it again when we can come back for two weeks!"

  • A True Paradise, You Never Want To Leave

"The moment I walked through the door of this beautiful condo, I knew I was in the most perfect place I have ever vacationed. It was so spacious, beautifully furnished, including a kitchen with everything needed. looking out the glass doors was a patio, with a large table and comfortable chairs, where we enjoyed having our breakfast every morning the gardens around us were like being in Eden. Across the well maintained grounds was a beautiful lagoon pool with swim up bar. The security was excellent too, which means everything today! The beach is across the street, the best restaurants, and shopping are in walking distance. I have traveled throughout the world, and stayed in many beautiful condos, but I must say this is a favorite! I will plan to travel to Costa Rica again, and will only stay in this rental, and have already recommended it to all my family and friends! Patti Russell, San Antonio, Texas"

  • BEAUTIFUL, SPACIOUS WELL-DECORATED CONDO OVERLOOKING GOLF COURSE AND OCEAN

"Had an incredible visit to Costa Rica, and finding this jewel was the frosting on the cake! This spacious condo is a perfect floorplan for families, or couples to share with split bedroom areas. Ron was personable, helpful, and knowledgeable of the area, and sent us to wonderful beaches, restaurants, and places to enjoy the sunsets. We loved swimming in the Beachclub's beautiful facilities, and even in the largest pool in Central America! I met couples who have returned to Reserva Conchal for many years. The staff, townspeople, and neighbors were very friendly and helpful. I would love to return!!!!!"
