  • Perfect Getaway Spot.

"The place was better than expected. The pictures here don't do justice to the beauty of the place. It is quiet, private, cozy and serene. It is near to shopping and within walking distance to the beach. Allen is awesome. He was willing to drop me off at the airport when I couldn't reach my taxi driver. The caretaker too was very nice. We enjoyed our short stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back here."

  • Great Location, Beautiful View, Pool Sunset Views Every Night!

"We just enjoyed a great stay at Nube Nueve Villa. It is in a great location in an area known for beaches, outdoor activities, and lots of tourists. The great thing is that it is still very quiet and not busy at all. It is about 10 minutes to Coco. It is less than a 90 minute drive of many wonderful adventure parks at Rincon de la Vieja and the Palo Verde boat tours. It is an easy 10 minute walk to the beach, and many local restaurants- which reservations are almost always easy to get, and VERY beneficial, FYI. It is up a pretty short, steep hill from the areas below. Two minutes of the walk back from the beach would be challenging uphill. We just drove most of the time because it was easy to park in town and the 70 year olds with us. The house itself is very clean, spacious and well maintained by the housekeeper. We loved Alejandra and her advice, cooking, and cleaning up after us. This isn't like yachting service, it is just comfortable and friendly. It was simple to plan with her for meals and they were all excellent, real, local food. The bedrooms are spacious, plenty of towels, pillows; also moderate wifi and one TV- for the convenience of those that can't fully unplug. The view of sunset each night is amazing from the balcony, but the downside is that the hot sun has been beating on the house all day- and it is pretty darn hot! Cool drinks and a dip in the pool are mandatory during the day. One note on the pool, as beautiful as it is, it is need of extensive tile repair and cleaning to bring the it up to par for the OCD travelers like myself. The local water is very hard with minerals and would be very difficult to keep up on, I can see. The solar heating of the jacuzzi works quite well. I will say that the owner and housekeeper will address any issues you bring up immediately and they are totally on top of the game. My concerns about the thermostat being set too high were addressed right away. This is a great house to really relax, unwind and just enjoy the area. We had one visit from a howler monkey walking past us in the pool, the songs of the birds, and the beautiful surroundings."

  • Wonderful place to call 'home' during our holiday!

"What a wonderful place to stay and enjoy Costa Rica! We found this a great location. The beach is a quick 7min walk (longer to get back up what we joked was 'hell hill', but that just added to the fun, and heck, we had to combat at least some of our extra calories!). The beach is long and clean, dotted with various restaurants. Hermosa is a small quiet location with a few restaurants and a small groc store, but With Coco Beach and shops a 5min drive, all amenities are close by, and it's nice to be away from the chaos. The condo is fabulous. We lived on the spacious, well equipped deck, enjoying the view from the highest (public) point in Hermosa. The wifi was reliable, kitchen has everything you need including a blender (necessity), and auto ice maker (another necessity). Make sure to say hi to Spunky the spotted skunk who did his nightly dusk visit (cute little guy!! We found ourselves waiting for him to sneak by each night!). We really liked the small grass area of this particular condo, and access to the pool was quick. Security staff is friendly-make sure to stop for your Spanish lesson! Would definitely recommend!!!!"
