  • Perfect location for rest and relaxation

"The condo is in a perfect location for rest and relaxation, yet close enough for active adventures. The condo is just as pictured. The view from the condo is outstanding. To see the blue sky and hear the surf from the front window is heaven on earth. The condo is nicely appointed with all the comforts of home. Beds are very comfortable. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and Rita from the property management company greeted us and led us to the condo to give us an overview of everything. She was most helpful and readily available for any questions we may have. The information provided by Kalli was wonderful. She did not miss a thing in terms of what is provided as well as recommendations for dining and recreation. We took advantage of having groceries delivered to the condo on the day of arrival so that we could have a restful evening and enjoy breakfast items in the morning. We took long walks on the endless beach and enjoyed cocktails and appetizers at the Beach House, which is walking distance from the condo. There is a fruit and vegetable stand just as you enter the property and the pineapples were sooo sweet and delicious. We had a private chef come to the condo on two separate occasions and it was worth every penny. We also had two massage therapist (Alejandra and Karen)come to the condo for heavenly one hour massages. We were so impressed that we had them come back again. Roxanne was the name of the concierge we worked with prior to our arrival and she is the one who set up the private chefs as well as the massage therapists. What a wonderful service. I do recommend renting a car since it is a distance from areas that have more action, such as Tamarindo. Tamarindo is about 25 minutes by car. Everything else is within walking distance; the Beach House, The Shack (best Tico breakfast in town), Playa Flamingo and its beach vendors. I would not hesitate to rent this condo again. Kudos to Kalli, Rita and Roxanne for a job well done! Pura Vida!!!!"

  • Paradise

"I booked El Destino Penthouse for my husband's 45th birthday celebration. There were three couples total and when we first arrived, we were all amazed by the beauty of the penthouse and overall accommodations. The penthouse is located next to several great restaurants (food and music is awesome). We had a special dinner at NUMU and the entire bill for six adults (drinks included) was only $150. El Castillo and Perlo's had live bands and karaoke on Friday and Saturday night that we enjoyed. The pool and beach were perfect and the bus stop was right near the supermarket (merkado). We took the bus to Playa Tamarindo with no issues (it comes like every hour). Overall this was the best experience and can't wait to visit again. Also, the concierge and owners were the best and very attentive."

  • Perfection!!

"I can't express enough how amazing Mike and Irma (owners of Twin Dolphins B&B) were during our one week stay. Me, my husband and a couple friend of ours stayed in their penthouse room which was very adequate space for us. We had our own patio with a beautiful view of the beach right at our front door basically. The location was very quiet and not too many people around. Every morning they prepared a delicious breakfast for us that started with coffee and assortment of fruits and then whatever he decided to cook for us - EVERYTHING was delicious! Mike is a man who wears many hats! His stories are incredible and he has so much knowledge of the country. You can tell he absolutely loves Costa Rica. His wife Irma is precious as well! Mike helped us book our tours that we wanted and was just a great resource throughout the trip. If you want an adventurous and memorable experience, do the Adventure Day at Hacienda Guachipelin! BEST EXPERIENCE!! That included zip-lining, horseback riding, white water rafting and a volcanic mud bath with hot springs. It was all of our first time doing anything like that. We stayed pretty local so we didn't rent a car. We mostly walked or got a taxi a few times to visit the neighboring beaches (Flamingo and Conchal). We truly left a piece of us there and we told them we would back definitely! They left the best impression and I would recommend them to anyone who visits. BEST VACATION EVER! Thank you Mike and Irma for everything! Pura Vida!"

  • Exceeded expectations

"Group of 6 people. Been to Costa Rica before (San Jose), and looking for a different experience. We found it in Guanacaste and this home was perfect for us. Plenty of room. Each couple had their own bedroom and private bath. We had an extra bathroom for goood measure. The home is very comfortable and functional. Loved being close to thhe beach. Fine restaurants are nearby. Easy access to most places you need to go. Best part of the stay is the friendly, polite, and efficient staff that are always happy to assist. The home manager/concierge, Sai, was kowledgeable of all aspects and was able to secure appointments for massages, tours, and answer questions about most anything. The housekeepers, gardener, and night guard were all very good. We vacation a lot in various parts of the world, and have stayed at countless VRBO sponsored homes, and can say that this is one of our favorite places. Given the opportunity, we would surely return and rent this property again. Pura Vida!"
