  • Beautiful View

"The architecture of the house, the landscaping and the view were great. The master bedroom has its own spectacular view and balcony that was beautiful to wake up to. We enjoyed the large pool and the proximity to the beach. We drove but it's not too far to walk. There is also a small supermarket within walking distance of the house. The main 2 bedrooms were of nice size and had a/c. The third bedroom seemed more of a storage space turned bedroom. We pulled the mattresses up to the master and let the kids sleep there since the third room has no access from the main house and no a/c or fan. You have to go outside and through the garage or outside by the pool and that was not the best place for children. Take note that the main living space does not have a/c (there is a fan) and is gets pretty steamy. It was more comfortable to sit outside since thankfully it's not that humid in December/January. There are several TVs but no TV service. There are quite a few DVDs and 1 DVD player. All in all we enjoyed the stay but there were a few things I thought could have been improved for the price. The pool needs resurfacing since the paint is chipped all over the bottom, the living rooms needs A/C and the third bedroom needs some personal touches to make it seem more of a bedroom than a walk in closet with twin beds. Lastly the main bedrooms are only outfitted with a fitted and tucked flat sheet with the box spring mattress exposed and wrapped in plastic. There was no bedskirt or canopy as seen in the pictures and some of the furniture is broken and/or stained. We spent most of our time at the pool or beach so those things didn't affect the stay that much."

  • Natural paradise

"Beautiful house in Playa San Miguel! It's everything that is advertised and more!. My family and I stayed for 4 days and we loved it. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the beach was great. Perfect for large families with children. This is a place that would accommodate anyone. From the first moment that I contact Roxana, the owner daughter, she was always very friendly and willing to help. We drove to Punta Arenas and took the Ferry. It was refreshing the one hour on the ocean with seagulls by. The house staff is excellent. And the outside kitchen allows us to cook with a great ocean view while enjoy our family. Buying the fresh sea food from local ventors worth the trouble. Some days we were in the mood to enjoy the beach all day long, so we order some of the greatest authentic costarican menu from a local lady. Was a great choice! Walking on the beach at night illuminated by the starlight, we witness one of the greatest moments in our lifes, a big turtle was laying her eggs and the experience was speechless…. Another day we woke up at 4:30 am went to see the birds waking up and flying out from the trees at the estero to start their day, it is a great spectacle of nature to witness while sunrises. On our way back to San Jose, we decided to drive. We left early that morning and stop to get to know all the wonderful beaches. We will definitely be back! Agnes Imbert"

  • Amazing Experience

"The house sits atop a mountain providing privacy and breath taking views of the coast line. Best sunset I've ever experienced. Conveniently located near a variety of beaches, great restaurants and shops. All three houses are in pristine condition and provide a very comfortable stay. Within minutes to adventure sports including zip lining as well as all types of water sports. Highly recommended for all types of vacationers!!"

  • Amazing views, lovely property!

"We had a wonderful time at this rental property in Samara! My husband and I and our four girls (ages 6-21) all stayed in the home. The view was more than I ever expected, so much more amazing in person than in the pictures. The house was well equipped with everything that we needed and it was great to have a private pool right outside the door! Shannon was great about responding and getting back to me quickly. The property manager Luis was helpful and even cut down some fresh coconuts for us to enjoy the water from. The town was laid back and relaxed, just how a beach town should be. All of the locals were very friendly and helpful. The beach was so beautiful and despite the town being quite busy, it was not crowded at all and felt very private. The only thing for us with having younger kids, although it's not too far to the beach (took us about 15 mins), it was very steep and pretty difficult for our 6 year old. No problem though, we were able to just park right by the beach as we had a rental car. Thank you Shannon for allowing us to stay in your home and make memories that will last us a lifetime!"
