  • Great Location, Beautiful View, Pool Sunset Views Every Night!

"We just enjoyed a great stay at Nube Nueve Villa. It is in a great location in an area known for beaches, outdoor activities, and lots of tourists. The great thing is that it is still very quiet and not busy at all. It is about 10 minutes to Coco. It is less than a 90 minute drive of many wonderful adventure parks at Rincon de la Vieja and the Palo Verde boat tours. It is an easy 10 minute walk to the beach, and many local restaurants- which reservations are almost always easy to get, and VERY beneficial, FYI. It is up a pretty short, steep hill from the areas below. Two minutes of the walk back from the beach would be challenging uphill. We just drove most of the time because it was easy to park in town and the 70 year olds with us. The house itself is very clean, spacious and well maintained by the housekeeper. We loved Alejandra and her advice, cooking, and cleaning up after us. This isn't like yachting service, it is just comfortable and friendly. It was simple to plan with her for meals and they were all excellent, real, local food. The bedrooms are spacious, plenty of towels, pillows; also moderate wifi and one TV- for the convenience of those that can't fully unplug. The view of sunset each night is amazing from the balcony, but the downside is that the hot sun has been beating on the house all day- and it is pretty darn hot! Cool drinks and a dip in the pool are mandatory during the day. One note on the pool, as beautiful as it is, it is need of extensive tile repair and cleaning to bring the it up to par for the OCD travelers like myself. The local water is very hard with minerals and would be very difficult to keep up on, I can see. The solar heating of the jacuzzi works quite well. I will say that the owner and housekeeper will address any issues you bring up immediately and they are totally on top of the game. My concerns about the thermostat being set too high were addressed right away. This is a great house to really relax, unwind and just enjoy the area. We had one visit from a howler monkey walking past us in the pool, the songs of the birds, and the beautiful surroundings."

  • Great week at Pacifico

"The condo had pretty much everything you could ask for and was in top notch condition. The furnishings were great and the main patio on the pool was great for a dip on those hot days. I'd definitely stay there again if I make another visit to this area of Costa Rica. It was less than a mile walk to the beach, and there were plenty of restaurants all in walking distance. We had a car, but most of the time walked to the beach in the morning instead of using the car. We also walked to dinner most nights. It's also close to grocery stores, having two just outside the entrance to the complex! So you should feel no hesitation staying here. It was everything we hoped for, and more. Thanks Mike and Lorraine!"

  • Beautiful and comfortable!

"Our group of 16 adults and two kids had a fantastic week at this beautiful villa. The bedrooms are large, extremely comfortable and air-conditioned! The home is staffed by wonderful, kind and friendly people. The housekeeping staff keep everything so clean :). We especially appreciated everything the host Steven did for us. He was so friendly and accommodating! He arranged and re-arranged at our request several activities. The chef Hugo made us fabulous meals with the expert help of Hubert and Alejandro. We were there for the wedding of our children. The chef and staff prepared a fabulous wedding dinner with bar set up on the lawn. The tables and chairs were covered with white linens, palm leaves, orchids and votive candles. The men had gathered driftwood to create an arch and the groundskeeper was so helpful - making sure the structure was solidly built. I can't say enough about the staff. They made our stay so comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach, the warm water and the gorgeous sunsets. We also enjoyed the farmers market just s short walk down the beach. It was truly a vacation of a lifetime!"

  • Life experience!

"To begin our trip we arrived in Liberia Airport. Great easy airport. Rented a car and was off to Playa Flamingo. We arrived on the 1st of Jan. 2017 and the beach was very crowded, cars everywhere. Our cell phones did not function for whatever reason and so we could not contact the condo owner, Octavio. We stopped at a restaurant and borrowed a phone from a friendly local and were able to call but did not reach Octavio. A few minutes later a man pulls into the parking lot and asks if I am Mark. It was Octavio. The person who lent his phone got a call back from Octavio and he found us. Also we learned that the first of Jan is the busiest day of the dry season. I should have figured. Anyway Octavio was a real pleasure. His condo is nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The views are as beautiful as you could ever imagine. The locals are friendly and kind. The food is so healthy and delicious. The birds from the balcony kept me busy and the beach was a comfortable walking distance. Flamingo is a heavenly place. Thank you Octavio Mark and Deedee"
