  • Great location for access to beach

"Stayed in one of the one bedroom units, and our daughter, husband and two small children in the 2 bedroom apartment upstairs, for a month. Not luxurious but definitely adequate. The bedrooms have large comfortable beds, and the bathrooms large showers. The bathroom in the one bedroom unit is a bit awkward. When you try to leave the door open it cuts off the access to the sink and mirror. The kitchen is a tight squeeze when all 6 of us sat together at the small table...And counter space is very limited. But we often used the BBQ downstairs and ate at the tables at the beach club. The washer and dryer are downstairs and are the ones used by cleaning staff, so no access after 6:00 PM. The pool is great, warm and inviting. The pool is used by diving staff to give lessons so sometimes busy. Also the club is used by Coco Bay Estate's, so sometimes the lounge chairs are all occupied. But usually by late afternoon we had the pool to ourselves. The beach is very close, an easy walk even for our two year old grandson. Good snorkeling right from the beach. The staff is outstanding. Thank you, Neri and Mike. All questions and concerns were addressed promptly and kindly. They made us feel like family. Housekeeping was provided three times a week, with towels and sheets changed. So we did not have to launder those ourselves. And beach towels were provided by the Club. Our cleaning lady was wonderful. Very thorough and kind. Worked around the nap times of our little guys. We also had access to the Coco Bay Estate's pool and fitness center, about 2.5 km away. Great pool and gave the little ones another place to play... Water slide! Fitness room was great, and showers as well. The only negatives are that there is no "living room". There is only a small couch right next to the kitchen table, in the apartment. But there is a nice balcony at the back and the front of the unit. And we often sat on the couches at the Club. Internet seemed to drop every afternoon at the Club....Dont really know why, because it was usually pretty steady in the units. A good place for a young family to stay, with easy access to beach and pool."

  • Amazing secluded acreage in preserved dry forest - luxury glamping at its best

"We spent 2 glorious nights at this property. We arrived early afternoon and although it was past lunch-time our hosts offered us an amazing lunch. The property is STUNNING with the existing and planned glamping sights all having unique features. The tents themselves are topnotch. We had one in the forest that was very private and saw and heard lots of wildlife. Loved the howlers! We spent time at both amazing private beaches - kayaking and snorkelling is possible but the wind did not co-operate for us while we were there. Went on a night exploration to try to see leatherback turtles laying eggs on the beach - didn't see them but enjoyed the adventure. Karin and Simon are wonderful hosts who provided amazing, healthy gourmet meals complete with a short but very good wine list. The portions of food were very generous and the food was always freshly prepared from scratch - AMAZING! The tents were large and perfect for feeling at one with nature. Beds were very comfy. Loved the outdoor tub and shower. Although you are off the grid you are not suffering at all - no problem charging cameras and phones and internet access at the kitchen was good. The road is not bad - take a 4x4 and take it slow and enjoy the vistas. We will be back!!"

  • wonderful winter getaway

"This house is perfect for a relaxing, quiet vacation. Just minutes from Coco, beach a few steps away, and a private pool too. It is an easy ride from the airport in Liberia, and many sites and tours are close by. Our concierge, Laura, was so helpful. She arranged our rental car, a river tour, and was available to help us in any way. Edwin was wonderful to work with, if there is an issue, he promptly takes care of it. Thanks for a wonderful time"

  • Relaxing

"Always a great place to stay! This our second time at Casa Verde and we intend on going to stay again, if we can. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Pool is ideal for cooling off after a hot day at the beach. Kudos to Patricia as she is a great hostess!"
