  • Really great place

"Everything was as easy as could be. The owner was very responsive to some initial questions. Upon arrival we were met and given a tour of the house and a demo on how to operate everything. The kitchen is really nice with modern appliances and a big granite island. There is ac in the bedrooms that was nice to use, but some nights we just slept with the fan and windows open (all windows have screens and security bars). In short, it's a very nice house. The view is terrific and the property makes you feel like you're all alone, even though there are other houses around. It's very peaceful to sit on the porch and listen to the sounds. The nearest beach and town are laid back. There's more of a Tico feel than tourist feel, which was what we were looking for. One thing to note was that one night the wifi stopped working so I called the property manager on the house phone. They were very responsive and made the call to the company, set up the appointment for the repair, and waited for the technician to show up to repair. We knew this was going to be happening while we were out exploring the next day so it was not an inconvinience at all. When we returned that night the wifi was repaired and all the trash cans were emptied. I believe that this small gesture demonstrates the property managers attention to detail and true care for the renters. Sure, it's not a big deal to empty the trash cans but, hey, we were on vacation and it was one less chore to deal with! So thanks again if you're reading this."

  • Beautiful Home

"We couldn't have chosen better than this! The house is magnificent. We stayed for 7 days. There were two adults and 5 young adult/teens. We all had plenty of space and were quite comfortable. The open air dining space was a great place for the kids to hang out, literally. They hung their hammocks and listened to music and played cards in the evenings. The teens also took scuba certification while we were in Samara. Gabriel from Samara Diving was able to come to the house for the pool and theory portion of the course. Our trip to Samara and the surrounding area was a trip of a lifetime and we can't wait to go back."

  • A Wonderful House with Gorgeous Views

"My wife and two sons stayed at this property over New Years. The house is exactly like the pictures on the site. Clean, spacious, and well appointed for our six day stay. Perfect size for the four of us. Only a 5 minute drive to beautiful Carrillo Beach and 10 minutes to Samara. We used the kitchen and outdoor grill for breakfast and lunch. We ate dinners in Samara which has plenty of restaurant options. Pool was well maintained and has a stunning view of the ocean. Maid service was provided and the property's caretaker was there several times during our stay. To reach the house you must drive a steep rutted dirt road from Playa Carrillo. A four wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended. I would highly recommend this property and we look forward to returning some day."
