  • geeat visit (although different from what we were expecting)

"We booked casa wasabi the day before we arrived so it was very last minute. We missed in the ad description that it wasn't a private house - it is better described as apartments. The pool is shared with two other rental units. That being said it is a very comfortable, spacious 3 bedroom apartment with a well equipped kitchen and a fabulous location super close to the beach. William is an excellent host. Although it wasn't exactly what we were initially expecting we had a great stay and would definitely return."

  • Great!

"My three sons and I just returned from Costa Rica where we spent a week at this great house. I highly recommend it. The house was well stocked with everything we could have needed in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. The beds were super comfortable, the upstairs deck was my favorite place to have coffee every morning, the house was cleaned every day and the location great. The Lago de Palma Real complex where it's located is adjacent to the JW Marriott so, if you don't feel like cooking or venturing out for meals, you could walk (about 10-15 min) to the hotel. However, the food options in Tamarindo are MUCH better - lots of great restaurants - so we opted to make the drive most nights. Tamarindo is about 15-20 minutes away by car and we ate at The Ocean, Le Coconut (best food), Dragonfly (delicious!) and Pangas Beach Club (best atmosphere). The Hacienda Pinilla complex is huge. You can walk to the Marriott and the Lago de Palma Real pool (which is nice and uncrowded), but not to golf, tennis or the HP Beach Club. We had a car so it wasn't an issue for us at all, but I'm not sure how you get to everything without a vehicle. It was great to have different pool options. We spent some time at all of them - Marriott, Lago de Palma and the Beach Club. Beach Club was lovely, definitely our favorite and the beach there is large, beautiful and not crowded. The Hacienda Pinilla staff were very helpful and booked several excursions for us and I also met the villa owner, Bill, who happened to be at the Beach Club one day and introduced himself. He is super nice and was very accommodating throughout the rental process, too. I would definitely book this house again and thought the location ideal - we visited several other Pacific coast beaches while we were there and thought Playa Avellanas, where the Beach Club is, was the nicest and the proximity to Tamarindo's great restaurants was a big bonus."

  • Exceeded our expectations

"Wow! We just returned home after a weeklong stay at this beautiful condo. Everything was just as described - it's beautiful, spacious, well-equipped, and in a wonderful location. We prepared many of our meals in the condo, and ate ALL of them on the patio. Every day started and ended on the patio enjoying the view. We walked along the beach in both directions and found great spots to swim, and we also spent time relaxing in the pool. RPM arranged our transportation to and from the airport, and they answered any questions we had. We didn't rent a car and loved being able to walk to the little market to pick up a few things, and we made several visits to Matty's Deli and El Sapo Pizza. The security guard was always available to call a taxi if we wanted to drive into town. We highly recommend this condo to anyone considering a visit to the Tamarindo/Langosta area. You won't be disappointed!"

  • Beautiful and well maintained!

"We had a family of 7 stay at Casablanca on June 11-18, 2016. The property grounds were lovely and very clean. It was comforting to have a security guard on the grounds. Upon entering the villa it was quite impressive, with beautiful amenities and fully equipped! Although we did not have a view of the beach, it was right across the street! The iguanas, crabs, howler monkeys, and birds on and around the property was an added delight! Walking to town was a daily short venture with cute little shops and great restaurants. We would definitely recommend staying at this villa. Also the property management group was very helpful. Thank you, Syd and Lynn!"
