"The house was bigger than I expected and comfortable. It was clean and organized. The yard is just a pool and a small table but to be honest, we only swam and stayed inside due to typical Costa Rica bugs during this time of year. The A/C units worked perfectly. They appear to be somewhat new and easy to use the remotes. I wish there were maybe 1 or 2 comfy chairs in the living room rather than just the sofa. We were all clumped on the sofa together so some room off the only couch would be nice. But, no biggy. Didn't spend much time in there anyway. The bed in master room a bit hard but I prefer that over too soft. Maybe add a pillow top cover with memory foam and problem solved! The shower head upstairs needs some TLC but not a huge issue. It worked and we showered with no problem. The kitchen is fully stocked with all pots, pans, silver, plates, glasses, etc...we had all we needed. We had some issues with the lights in the living room as they could not be turned off. We had a teenager who wanted to sleep in there (rather than with his little brother) so he had to sleep with the lights on. But, we blew a fuse one day and figured out that #16 on the panel shuts them off.....if you want to know. Gate lock downstairs is a little tricky and it made some of the guys mad...but, I never had a problem with it. Worked for me! hahahahha Just don't over think it...turn key, twist, pull door open. :) We rented a golf cart....WAY TO GO!!! Perfect for getting to the beach with boards, bags, towels, and children. We had to do 2 trips since there was 7 of us but only a 6-7 minutes drive. We rented bikes for a day but too hot to pedal around and kids tired easily. Rent a golf cart! Alan, JuanRo, Stephan, and team are the BEST! A+ service from these guys! Juan gave us a phone to call any of them when needed and we used was perfect. They accommodated our adventure needs with ease! showed up on time for every event (we were a bit late...but not those guys). The transportation always had A/C to keep us cool...and drivers were safe on the roads. Alan told us all sorts of cool things about Costa Rica and gave us tips for our next trip back! He's the best! I highly recommend the pure adrenaline tour! It's not for the lazy have your energy drink! So much fun!!! What else? Oh...we had a small electrical issue and Juan had a guy come out within minutes to fix it. I will use these guys next time...for sure!!"

  • A Gem steps from the Beach

"The details, furnishings and garden show a true labour of Love. Rik has created a real garden of Eden near the Beach with all the toys included. We enjoyed our walks along the Ocean, but there were bicycles and surfboards available, too. Birds, iguanas and monkeys gave us great entertainment as we enjoyed this property and the closeness to the Beach. Kitchen was very well equipped--but as we were on vacation we took advantage of several beachfront restaurants--very good!! Thanks, Rik"

  • Amazing

"My wife and 4 adult children just returned from Costa Rica, staying 5 nights at Villa Encantada. When we first arrived, we were all so impressed. As each day passed, we just kept liking and appreciating your place more and more. The Villa is beautifully decorated and fully equipped. There was nothing I could think of that wasn't there at our disposal. It's perfect for 3 couples or a family with children. The pool feels like a private oasis. It is private and wonderfully tropical. It was equally refreshing at early morning, mid day or late night. The villa is located across the street from beach access, but not really a swimming area, it's too rocky. However, the sunset is amazing, so bring a cocktail and enjoy. The Langosta Beach Club is about a 10 minute walk down the road. We saw many many monkeys each day while strolling to the Club where you can swim, surf, eat, drink, walk. It is a great perk to have access to the Club. We spent many hours enjoying it's beauty. The people of Costa Rica are very accommodating and friendly. The town of Tamarindo is small, laid back and very safe. We all felt very comfortable there. I'd also like to highlight how efficient and responsive RPM, the management company , was to us. Well done. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. We travel a lot, we have rented many times. I would rate this property at the top of our list."

  • Perfect!

"Our family of four along with another family of four just returned from our first trip to Costa Rica. The Villa was perfect for our families. We had plenty of room and were able to make many of our meals in the beautiful kitchen. The property manager is amazing! She helped us plan activities and gave us good tips on restaurants in the area. You won't be disappointed with this Villa or the property manager."
