  • Amazing!! I wish I could give Casa Andalucia 10 stars!

"If you are going to Tamarindo, you absolutely HAVE to stay at Casa Andalucia! Jolene and Gary made it feel like we were staying with family. The rooms are all spotless, beautifully appointed, and extremely comfortable. Having coffee on the porch in the morning while watching birds and monkeys is the perfect way to start the day in Costa Rica. If you want to snorkel or catch a glimpse of Costa Rican wildlife, Brooks is the man to see! He showed us so much of Costa Rica that we want to live there forever. Thank you to all who made our trip as close to perfect as a vacation can get!"

  • Fabulous Ladies Getaway

"We had a WONDERFUL 50th birthday celebration with 16 ladies at Villa Parasio! The property has an amazing view and the set up of the house was perfect for 16 ladies with each bedroom having it's own bathroom. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out with multiple seating options outside. The breakfast prepared by Rosa was delicious and she changed up the menu almost everyday. The road up to the house is very steep. Highly recommend using a taxi to go up and down the hill unless you are looking for a great workout. Rebecca was great to work with in booking the reservation and very responsive. Marcelo and Fiorella were excellent concierges. They were engaged right after we booked our stay helping with airport transportation, chef services, welcome baskets, restaurant and tour recommendations and coordinating massages for the group. The weather was beautiful in February, not too hot, not too humid (it was, however, very windy). The town of Tamarindo Bay itself was very lovely with plenty of shopping, dining and excursion options. We were a group of sisters, mothers, cousins, friends, aunts, nieces and daughters all looking for a great place to unplug and recharge. The Villa Parasio in Tamarindo was the perfect place to accomplish this."

  • Will return

"The house is as advertised. Right on the beach. Clean, user friendly, lots of modern conveniences. We LOVED the howler monkey family that live on the property. Being able to walk the beach to town, restaurants, shops if we wanted and not having to walk the street was fabulous, but walking the street wasn't bad either, just not as beautiful and quiet. The 1 walk each way, every morning was a fantastic way to start your day. The weather was great, the water extremely warm and everyone very friendly and helpful. We wanted to see the sunset off the ocean and not the "bay" so walked to the far west side either at low tide or over the top of the hill. Real easy and way worth the walk. Fun condos, hotels and house on this side. What probably was the best was the overall best location of this house. Never crowded, wonderful to learn to surf and only a 40 minute ride from the airport. I would caution any one coming at Christmas. The crowds were so interesting to mingle with because every nationality was represented but the outdoor disco music that played between Christmas and New Years was some times difficult to handle when it went from 9 AM to 2 AM LOUD, like it was right next door but really was in town. Water carries sound :( In the beginning we thought the howler monkeys were loud but..... It didn't hamper our stay but would have liked it better at night to hear the waves and not the banging of the music. We will go back and will try to stay in this house again. You can be right on the beach (rarity), take a 30 second water taxi ride over to playa grande to see the turtles, 15 minutes to Ziplining with Monkey Jungle, see sunsets without leaving your area, go out to what ever kind of food you can imagine within a 10 minute walk and even walk to the Automarket grocery, if you don't mind a little further walk, or 5 minutes to the little market/store. We were able to drink the water 1/2 way through our stay without issues, we cooked most days and nights and had a great time. Places great to eat Shrimp Hole by 2001 grocery El Blula- Italian , great Pizza Falafal - great greek salad Wicked Jack area where they rent surf boards Nugi's for happy hour We NEVER got in a car or taxi after we were dropped off day one, except to Zipline"

  • Affordable with Multiple Rooms and Baths

"Typical low water pressure which seems to be par for many properties but, can get the job done.....Nice overall property which is private and quiet.....However, the Hot Tub displayed in the VRBO advertisement does not work at all.....I peeked under the skirt and the control panel is missing numerous components which explains why it just sits there and looks good for an ad pic but, thats all.....Don't rent based on the Hot Tub off the Master suite. Also, the Master is a king bed and the other rooms both have two single beds, which was hard to ascertain based on the description and pics @ VRBO...."
