  • Adventures in Costa Rica

"We stayed at the house for one week. The house is on the edge of the jungle. Close enough to Samara but far enough away from the crowds. Punta Islita is just a few miles south of the house. You do need a 4x4. Being off the paved roads is where adventure begins. If you want the remote and real Costa Rica experience, there is no need to go back to Samara (except for gas). There is a very nice place to eat in Punta Islita (Restaurant Kambute). The food was more traditional Costa Rican. Further south you can find more places to eat. We enjoyed going to the Coyote area for breakfast ( but that may be too far for some). We saw parrots every day. Heard the howler monkeys everyday. Saw them most everyday. Macaws visited the property one day. Great views! Great beaches! Mike was great with information, suggestions and about everything we threw at him! Thank you for a great adventure, Mike!"

  • Treehouse is amazing!

"My boyfriend and I spent a week in the Casita Treehouse and absolutely loved it! From the moment we booked the trip to our departure Donna was super helpful and always available for questions. The treehouse has a beautiful view of the ocean and we loved having the balcony amidst the trees. It was an easy walk into town on the beach or the road and we loved being a bit outside the center of Tamarindo in a quiet spot! It was very convenient to have a grocery store withing walking distance to get essentials. We also walked to the larger store which took about 30 minutes. We did not rent a car and had not trouble getting around. There are a number of great restaurants and some of our favorites were right on the beach! Stop by El Be's for happy hour to watch the sunset and enjoy live music. Our favorite tour was a sunset catamaran trip out of Flamingo bay with Panache Sailing. I highly recommend this spot! We are definitely going to be back."

  • Wonderful Villa's with amazing hospitality!

"Our trip to Costa Rica was fantastic and we can’t wait to return because of the wonderful hospitality we were shown at Arenal Springs Villas. The accommodations were just as described and met our every need. The best part was being able to tap into Maria’s expertise to interpret for us, make recommendations and book things to do. This was invaluable and made our vacation even more enjoyable. We loved our New Years Eve dinner (those cookies were fantastic) and seeing white faced monkeys directly from our villa was amazing. From my first contact to our final goodbyes, Tom and Maria's warmth and helpfulness made us feel at home giving us many wonderful memories of our family trip. I will be sure to tell our friends about Arenal Springs Villa’s and highly recommend them."
