  • Fabulous Ladies Getaway

"We had a WONDERFUL 50th birthday celebration with 16 ladies at Villa Parasio! The property has an amazing view and the set up of the house was perfect for 16 ladies with each bedroom having it's own bathroom. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out with multiple seating options outside. The breakfast prepared by Rosa was delicious and she changed up the menu almost everyday. The road up to the house is very steep. Highly recommend using a taxi to go up and down the hill unless you are looking for a great workout. Rebecca was great to work with in booking the reservation and very responsive. Marcelo and Fiorella were excellent concierges. They were engaged right after we booked our stay helping with airport transportation, chef services, welcome baskets, restaurant and tour recommendations and coordinating massages for the group. The weather was beautiful in February, not too hot, not too humid (it was, however, very windy). The town of Tamarindo Bay itself was very lovely with plenty of shopping, dining and excursion options. We were a group of sisters, mothers, cousins, friends, aunts, nieces and daughters all looking for a great place to unplug and recharge. The Villa Parasio in Tamarindo was the perfect place to accomplish this."

  • Book here for your Tamarindo stay

"Booking, paying, arriving to Tamarindo etc was easy with this rental! It is very clean and the washer and dryer is always nice amenity! The location is not beach front, however, the walk is easy and not far from the beach, shops and food. My friend and I rented a car since we traveled to 3 different cities in Costa Rica but next time we are utilizing the shuttle services the VRBO owners recommend. Bring cash because while most places take credit cards, most do not. They do have ATM's for if you do run out, but it is a hassle. That is one thing my friend and I wish someone had told us so now I am telling you! The beach experience wasn't as nice as it was in Samara (the city we were in before we drove up to Tamarindo) because the local vendors were constantly walking up and down the beach all day asking you if you want to purchase something. But besides that, Tamarindo is a fun place to stay in Costa Rica and about an hour and a half max from Liberia airport. We enjoyed our time at this location and will be back I'm sure!"

  • Loved Our Visit to Tamarindo

"Recently visited Tamarindo with husband and two teenage boys for Spring Break with other families/kids. We stayed in a two bedroom house complete with every convenience of home and a small private pool. The house was lovely, clean, comfortable and perfect for our family. The pictures posted are very much like the real thing! From the house it is a short walk (8 min) to the beach club and a little longer (15 min) to town. The walk from beach club to town is much better by beach vs. road. A car is not necessary, but we rented one anyway and were glad to have it as we made frequent trips into town for groceries, dining, etc. Bob was very easy to work with as well as the concierge staff. Overall, we really loved our Costa Rica vacation and would recommend this property. It exceeded our expectations! Thanks, Bob!"

  • Great!

"My three sons and I just returned from Costa Rica where we spent a week at this great house. I highly recommend it. The house was well stocked with everything we could have needed in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. The beds were super comfortable, the upstairs deck was my favorite place to have coffee every morning, the house was cleaned every day and the location great. The Lago de Palma Real complex where it's located is adjacent to the JW Marriott so, if you don't feel like cooking or venturing out for meals, you could walk (about 10-15 min) to the hotel. However, the food options in Tamarindo are MUCH better - lots of great restaurants - so we opted to make the drive most nights. Tamarindo is about 15-20 minutes away by car and we ate at The Ocean, Le Coconut (best food), Dragonfly (delicious!) and Pangas Beach Club (best atmosphere). The Hacienda Pinilla complex is huge. You can walk to the Marriott and the Lago de Palma Real pool (which is nice and uncrowded), but not to golf, tennis or the HP Beach Club. We had a car so it wasn't an issue for us at all, but I'm not sure how you get to everything without a vehicle. It was great to have different pool options. We spent some time at all of them - Marriott, Lago de Palma and the Beach Club. Beach Club was lovely, definitely our favorite and the beach there is large, beautiful and not crowded. The Hacienda Pinilla staff were very helpful and booked several excursions for us and I also met the villa owner, Bill, who happened to be at the Beach Club one day and introduced himself. He is super nice and was very accommodating throughout the rental process, too. I would definitely book this house again and thought the location ideal - we visited several other Pacific coast beaches while we were there and thought Playa Avellanas, where the Beach Club is, was the nicest and the proximity to Tamarindo's great restaurants was a big bonus."
