  • VERY NICE, PRIVATE, AND COMFORATABLE HOME & LOCATION

"The house was bigger than I expected and comfortable. It was clean and organized. The yard is just a pool and a small table but to be honest, we only swam and stayed inside due to typical Costa Rica bugs during this time of year. The A/C units worked perfectly. They appear to be somewhat new and easy to use the remotes. I wish there were maybe 1 or 2 comfy chairs in the living room rather than just the sofa. We were all clumped on the sofa together so some room off the only couch would be nice. But, no biggy. Didn't spend much time in there anyway. The bed in master room a bit hard but I prefer that over too soft. Maybe add a pillow top cover with memory foam and problem solved! The shower head upstairs needs some TLC but not a huge issue. It worked and we showered with no problem. The kitchen is fully stocked with all pots, pans, silver, plates, glasses, etc...we had all we needed. We had some issues with the lights in the living room as they could not be turned off. We had a teenager who wanted to sleep in there (rather than with his little brother) so he had to sleep with the lights on. But, we blew a fuse one day and figured out that #16 on the panel shuts them off.....if you want to know. Gate lock downstairs is a little tricky and it made some of the guys mad...but, I never had a problem with it. Worked for me! hahahahha Just don't over think it...turn key, twist, pull door open. :) We rented a golf cart....WAY TO GO!!! Perfect for getting to the beach with boards, bags, towels, and children. We had to do 2 trips since there was 7 of us but only a 6-7 minutes drive. We rented bikes for a day but too hot to pedal around and kids tired easily. Rent a golf cart! Alan, JuanRo, Stephan, and team are the BEST! A+ service from these guys! Juan gave us a phone to call any of them when needed and we used it....it was perfect. They accommodated our adventure needs with ease! showed up on time for every event (we were a bit late...but not those guys). The transportation always had A/C to keep us cool...and drivers were safe on the roads. Alan told us all sorts of cool things about Costa Rica and gave us tips for our next trip back! He's the best! I highly recommend the pure adrenaline tour! It's not for the lazy peeps.....so have your energy drink! So much fun!!! What else? Oh...we had a small electrical issue and Juan had a guy come out within minutes to fix it. I will use these guys next time...for sure!!"

  • Breath taking views with unbelievable hospitality

"Visiting Costa Rica was on our bucket list. I had a friend of mine that stayed at Las Ventanas del Mar last year and recommended we checked it out. The photos on the website are beautiful but the actual property is gorgeous. There was 6 of us traveling together and when we opened up the door to our unit we were like kids as we walked around and yelled out to each other how amazing the home was with it's beautiful decor and the wrap around porch with views of the Pacific Ocean. They had left no small details out. We had access to beach chairs, snorkel gear, tennis gear, beach towels, coolers which all came into use. The infinity pool was unbelievable with its views of the ocean and mountains. We would go out almost every night for a swim and to wind down from the day’s activities and look at the stars. On a clear night go out and relax under the stars. It's like you can reach up and grab the stars as they look so close. Lorena, the property manager, was so helpful. She was very welcoming in our visit and always there to assist us with any questions or needs we had. We traveled outside of the property everyday as there were so many things we wanted to do. We did surf lessons at Samara Beach, rode ATV's for a sunset tour, traveled to Sibu Sanctuary where they rescue monkeys in need of medical care and release them back into the wild. We drove to Punta Islita and Playa Corozalito to be lucky enough to watch them release 68 baby turtles into the ocean. Each of the beach towns we visited were uniquely different with their sands, color of the water and break of the waves. The food and drinks were delicious. If you are adventurous and want to go out towards Nosara and their beaches, make sure to find La Luna for lunch. Go hungry as the food is amazing and in large portions. Our overall experience was beyond our expectations. We will be back again soon!"

  • Casa Del Mono Perezoso - what a wonderful experience

"Arrived yesterday afternoon after a wonderful time in Guanacaste - thank you for sharing your home It was beautiful, very comfortable and we always looked forward to getting "home" after a long day of activities. Your Manager was great and was always available even for our late evening phone calls. The gate guards at the Preserve were super and helped us with our daily taxi needs. They were very courteous and always welcomed us with a smile - we will miss them!! The Beach Club was great - very hospitable and helpful with our tour/activities. Had to go back to the Beach Club before we left for the "crepe suzette". Our son and his family will be doing a similar trip and we will make sure they at Casa Del Mono Perezoso. 'Til our next visit. evelyn"

  • Amazing Place for Family Retreat

"My group of five - three sisters, two boyfriends - rented the Paraisito for a week in March. The place is outstanding and we really appreciated the amenities, including the air conditioning. The pool and outdoor dining area, coupled with the security and secluded-yet-close-to-everything location were perfect for us. The pictures on the website do not do this place justice - trust me - it's super nice! The only negatives are that we couldn't get the grill to work - and two of us are chefs - so it just smoldered for an hour before we went inside to use the oven. And, due to a town-wide water restriction, we didn't have water in the house from 4 pm - 8 am. Nothing to do with the property team, just something to be aware of if you visit Costa Rica during the end of the dry season. The management team, both Virginie and Erika are amazing and super helpful. There's a white binder in the house with everything you need to know about enjoying your time in Nosara and we found it extremely helpful. Cannot recommend this place and this team enough."
