  • Private, Romantic gem!

"My fiancé and I spent a couple nights at this comfortable little home located on a semi-private beach, away from the hustle/bustle, but near wonderful restaurants, markets, etc. We were delighted to enjoy 10 monkeys, welcoming and entertaining us in the back yard the first morning of our stay, while enjoying Costa Rican Coffee and pastries, as well as delicious fruit we had purchased at the nearby mercado. The beach was lovely. We enjoyed beautiful sunrise and sunset views at charming beach front restaurants that we walked to from our "home" along the beach. The house is not fancy, but cozy and was very clean. The owner/managers were very responsive and accommodating. We would definitely recommend this place and hopefully return again in the future."

  • Can't lose with that view!

"We were 6 adults and 2 kids staying for two weeks in this amazing house. We rented at the end of the rainy season (beginning of December) and had a few days of rain and clouds, but that didn't even matter with the huge covered outdoor living area in this house.d There are a few cosmetic issues with the house that should be fixed - the kitchen sink is concrete and has a big (saucer size) chunk of concrete missing and because its green it just doesn't look clean. The water in CR is high in calcium so the washer and dishwasher are full of calcium scale - it didn't really affect if they worked or not, but don't look great. We had only one issue, with the ice maker, but they were VERY quick to come and fix it for us and very responsive to any inquiries. The view and outdoor space in this home MORE than made up for the few cosmetic issues - so much so that we're hoping to book it again for 2 weeks next year. You can't beat the location and space wise it really worked for us."

  • Location, Location, Location!!!

"A group of 10 of us, ranging in age from 10 years old to 74 years old stayed here for an amazing week. This house may have the best location in Playa Hermosa, as it is right on the beach, and less than a 2 minute walk to multiple restaurants. Literally, you walk out of the gate, step 30 feet down the path through the grass, and you are right on the beach. It doesn't get any better than that. The house itself is huge, with plenty of space for multiple families. Upstairs is the master suite and one gigantic bathroom, along with a small bunkroom as well. There is a sitting area, and a covered patio upstairs, and then there are three bedrooms with attached bathrooms downstairs. The multiple living areas are large, and well laid out, and the pool was great. Coconut and mango trees throughout the property, as well as a family of howler monkeys that like to hang out in the trees. The kitchen has two refrigerators, and there are more towels and linens than anyone could use in a week. This is a walled compound, and is very safe, and the caretaker lives right on the grounds with his family, Andre and his family were great, very unobtrusive, but helped us with anything we needed. Individual AC units downstairs and a very strong AC unit upstairs. The compound is located right next door to Roberto's. The beach is very nice, and the water by and large is very calm. Just down the beach was some amazing snorkeling, and you can take snorkeling trips right off of the beach, where we saw an amazing array of fish. In fact, the snorkeling was much better than we anticipated that it would be. Playa Hermosa is not a huge party area, which was fine for us. Playa Del Coco was about 10 minutes away by car, with a number of large grocery stores, nightclubs and restaurants. We found, however, that pretty much anything we wanted to eat we could walk to from Villa Daquiri. We were down during a school break, and even so, it was not very crowded at all. An added bonus was the fact that it was about 25 minutes from the airport to the beach. As far as activities were concerned, we did multiple snorkeling trips and a fishing trip, leaving right from the beach in front of the house, as well as a zip lining excursion that was less than 30 minutes away. This villa is comfortable, convenient, close to restaurants and right on the beach. A great place from which to explore everything that Costa Rica has to offer. Overall, it is very highly recommended by our group."

  • Overall BEST experience!

"The home owners were such a pleasure to work with and really provided the easiest and most enjoyable experience booking not only the house but also activities throughout our trip! They made planning our vacation fun and informative. They were able to set us up with private chefs for the house, massages to come to the house, and pretty much any outdoor activity you could think of. We will definitely be booking with them again in the future!!"
