  • Beyond Beautiful

"We brought a group of 12 to this home to celebrate a birthday and engagement. This was the first time in Costa Rica and it was fantastic! The house was beyond beautiful with a wonderfully comfortable feel. The rooms were appropriate in size and all 12 of us had plenty of space. Our concierge, Guss, was great to work with. We could not have found a better place to celebrate my fiancés birthday and our engagement. Looking forward to returning again!"

  • Beautiful, Affordable Home with Spectacular Views!

"My husband and I stayed at this beautiful property for one week in April during the dry season and it was truly not long enough. While the roads leading to Nosara are rough and challenging, they have kept the small towns of Nosara and Guiones tucked away and undeveloped. It truly is an escape away from it all. The house was well-equipped, well-maintained, and offered at a very reasonable price. The wildlife (Howler monkeys, coatimundi, array of birds, and more), sunsets, and views of the Nosara and Montana Rivers as they join the Pacific Ocean were beyond spectacular. We loved relaxing around the beautiful, warm infinity pool. The beaches are gorgeous and we enjoyed visiting Nosara, Peleda, Garza, Guiones, and Samara. Peleda and Guiones do not have much shade but there are palm trees on the others. There's a small bike shop in Guiones that rents beach chairs, umbrellas, and coolers. We highly recommend hiking the trails at the entrance to the Biological Reserve, which is very close to the house near the Nosara River and the trails right near the house that lead down to Playa Peleda. We found a wide array of pretty shells and huge sand dollars hiking down Nosara Beach at low tide. We took surfing lessons on Guiones, which was perfect for beginners at low tide. We enjoyed eating breakfasts at Cafe Paris in Guiones, the local tico-style food at Rancho Tico, and dinner at La Luna (get the Greek humus appetizer - yummy!). While Carl and Cathy were not at the house during our stay, we felt comfortable with Alex and Alejandro, who checked in on us and were there if we needed anything. Don't forget to feed their family of goats across the street. We highly recommend the house!"

  • Condo a stone's throw from the ocean with extras

"My husband and I enjoyed our time at the Los Almendros condo. The beach was great - very sparsely populated (maybe 15 people at most at one time in the three days we were there), soft black sand, clear water, and good snorkeling. It's only about a 5 minute walk, although coming back up the hill is a little bit of a challenge. We especially appreciated the snorkeling equipment that Gail had available at her condo for us to use. After a long drive there (from the Arenal area), we appreciated just being able to walk down the beach to Father Rooster's for dinner. The condo itself was exactly as described. The air conditioners worked great, and we especially enjoyed being able to sit on the screened-in porch with the view of the beach. Our biggest disappointment is outside of the owner's control - we did not see a single monkey during our stay! I wish we would have had another day or two because we never did get to try the kayaks."

  • Amazing

"My wife and 4 adult children just returned from Costa Rica, staying 5 nights at Villa Encantada. When we first arrived, we were all so impressed. As each day passed, we just kept liking and appreciating your place more and more. The Villa is beautifully decorated and fully equipped. There was nothing I could think of that wasn't there at our disposal. It's perfect for 3 couples or a family with children. The pool feels like a private oasis. It is private and wonderfully tropical. It was equally refreshing at early morning, mid day or late night. The villa is located across the street from beach access, but not really a swimming area, it's too rocky. However, the sunset is amazing, so bring a cocktail and enjoy. The Langosta Beach Club is about a 10 minute walk down the road. We saw many many monkeys each day while strolling to the Club where you can swim, surf, eat, drink, walk. It is a great perk to have access to the Club. We spent many hours enjoying it's beauty. The people of Costa Rica are very accommodating and friendly. The town of Tamarindo is small, laid back and very safe. We all felt very comfortable there. I'd also like to highlight how efficient and responsive RPM, the management company , was to us. Well done. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. We travel a lot, we have rented many times. I would rate this property at the top of our list."
