  • Quiet, close to everything you need

"We had a great time here! We stayed for 1 week and this was the perfect location. Walking distance to many great restaurants, market, coffee shops and the beach! The apartment has all the amenities you can imagine and it's great to take a dip in the pool after a long day at the beach. The air conditioner works very well and the apartment is very clean! It has a nice outdoor patio with an outdoor fan! The owners are so nice and can arrange transportation to the airport and help accommodate any other needs! Loved it!"

  • Everything I desired and more

"Where do I begin ... the Villa was perfect. Private, peaceful, so well equipped, everything like new and a location to die for. So many places to sit and enjoy the magnificent views. Mornings spent watching wildlife around the villa and in the ocean. Afternoons at the pool and beach with the happy hour spent watching the magnificent sunsets. Really felt this was a home away from home. The owner Roxi gave us great advice and has outfitted her home to perfection. Will be back to spend a longer time enjoying the villa and property."

  • Beautiful, tranquil and secluded

"The house is beautiful and Sashi is an attentive host. This was our first visit to the NIcoya coast, and we enjoyed it very much. We were looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful, sunny spot and that is just what we got. We were there during the dry season in February. The best things about this property: The house itself is well-kept. Our favorite spot was definitely the wide veranda surrounded by lovely palms. The master bed is very comfortable, the view out every window is beautiful, having two bathrooms, and the library of reading material. And Sashi herself, who helped us find organic produce, medicine when needed, good restaurants, and made a reservation for a surfing lesson. There is a dearth of comfortable furniture in the house, but we found our favorite chairs and moved them wherever we wanted to be. There were ants in the house, but we have those at home too, and they were easily dealt with. Be prepared for night noises (I was glad for my earplugs) and cool showers (actually quite welcome in the warm climate). Also be prepared to drive miles of rough gravel roads to get there--it's best to rent a larger vehicle or use a shuttle. We were pleasantly surprised by how many wonderful restaurants were nearby AND how easy it was to find vegetarian and vegan options at the restaurants. La Luna and El Chivo were our favorites. The beach was just beautiful! We spent most of our time at Playa Pelada, but also went to Playa Guiones to surf. Guiones also has great restaurants and some nice shops, but is more crowded and commercial than Pelada. Overall, a great community to vacation in, and this house a very nice place to stay. We'd love to go back!"

  • Lovely Get a way

"Great little spot, very private. Almost like having your own personal beach far away from everyone and everything. The host was close enoughto check on me but never in the way. A/C would have been nice a couple of nights, but otherwise very clean and comfortable. Everything I needed and nothing I didn't. I highly recommend this place!"
