  • Nice place a bit outside of the town

"We booked this condo of the recommendation of a friend/coworker that stayed here previously. It was truly more than we needed, as there was only two of us, but the extra space a quietness was appreciated. The location is nice but if you don't have a car you'll need to take a taxi for most places or walk about 1-2 miles for restaurants/stores in town. Although the pizza place down the street was nice and staff very helpful. The condo itself was nice and well appointed for the most part, but many of the lights were burned so lighting at night wasn't the best. It is well stocked with kitchen items except it would be nice to have a few more basic supplies available for cooking (mainly spices, oil etc) so you don't have to supply the entire cabinet on your week trip. Also there was little to now, soap or toilet paper when we arrived, so a little better stocking by the management staff would be helpful. I would definitely recommend chef Frank of Bellyfedbetter.com to come cook you a meal or two. That was definitely a highlight of the stay! Also be careful if you book in Sept/Oct as this is the slow season and many places/activities are closed or have limited hours."

  • Great vacation in Langosta Beach.

"We stayed in two different units in this building in late January. For three nights we stayed in a ground floor level apartment, for the second half we moved up to a second floor unit. Both apartments have similar two bedroom layouts. Ground floor had a large patio and the second floor had a large balcony. There were plenty of linens, towels, beach towels, fully equiped kitchens, washer/dryer, ceiling fans, comfortable furnishing and air conditioning. They did provide a roll away cot. The building rep Bob Wilson met us when we checked in and gave us useful tips about the condo, the beach cub and the general area. There was a concierge in the lobby during business hours. There was someone stationed at the gate 24 hours a day. We felt completely safe and secure. The street in front is not paved, it is a tar covered rocky road. It is quite busy for such a remote and quiet area. Not heavy traffic, just a light constant stream of cars, buses and motorcycles. The buidling backs onto a nature preserve. We did see monkeys right outside our balcony. There were plenty of birds as well. Howler monkeys early in the morning. One negative of this locations was there were a couple of nights when our bedroom was overcome by a terrible skunk odor. It passed, but it did wake me in the middle of the night. The sliding doors to the balconies and patios don't quite seal so you have to be prepared for visiting bugs (waterbugs and mosquitos) and even small iguanas (or lizards?) scurrying though the apartment. Te groud floor unit was a little worse for the wear. The freezer leaked water from the water dispenser so every time you opened the freezer door water spilled on the kitchen floor. This was annoying. All of the burners on the stovetop did not fire up. The second floor unit had great A/C except for the second bedroom, it was very warm and coldn't be cooled down. The housekeeping staff was excellent. The building is very well maintained. Every morning they sweep the outdoor pathways as well as the inside lobby and staircase. They were painting the lobby when we were there. The elevator was not in service but that was no big deal as we were on the ground level and the second floor."

  • Mike

"Our stay at was everything we hoped for. The home has a great floorplan and nice furniture. It is very clean and well stocked with essentials. The location is absolutely beautiful with great ocean views and nice breezes. You could not see another home and butterflies and exotic birds were plentiful. The trees even had howler monkeys! The swimming pool and outdoor shower were fantastic. A short walk to the beach out front yielded great surf and few people. I would recommend this house to anyone."

  • Spectacular views!!!

"Just returned from a 10 day trip to this beautiful condo in Playa Hermosa and I'm already having withdrawals from missing the views off of the back deck. We would wake up early each morning and drink our coffee while listening to the waves crash below and the sounds of nature all around us. The place is immaculate with all the comforts one would need on a vacation. We did experience a problem with water pressure on our first night but it was quickly resolved by the property management. It conveniently located very close to Liberia Airport and lots of the area attractions such as Rincon de la Vieja, Llanos de Cortez waterfalls, Coco Beach and the Congo Trail Canopy. There are many wonderful restaurants close by as well. One thing I do recommend is you must have a car to get around because the walk back from the beach is treacherous as the condo is located on top of a very steep hill (hence the panoramic views of Playa Hermosa). I would definitely recommend a stay here. You will not be disappointed."
