  • Great house in a great area!

"We loved this house. It had plenty of room - more than we needed for the two of us. The house is separated from the beach only by a gravel road. Beach access was just across that road. There was an outdoor shower in the yard which was nice for washing off the sand. The front porch was a great place to stay out of the sun and still enjoy the sound of the waves. The kitchen was well equipped (no microwave though) and had almost everything we needed (a large bowl for salad would be a good addition). It was nice to have a great non-stick pan for cooking breakfasts. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The mosquito nets were not needed when we were there. I never once saw a mosquito but there were little no-see-ums just at sunset that bothered me a little (but nothing more than a minor annoyance). On our first day the water pump for the hot water quit working and the owners were there immediately to get it fixed. On the second day, I locked myself out. The owner's mother lives next door and she was very kind to let me back in. The house does have a security system. The gates on the yard both lock as well so we felt very secure. You can walk into the town on the beach but it would be 30-45 mins or so. It is a 5 minute drive. There were lots of good restaurants - we really liked Lazlo's Catch of the Day. The gaucamole and ceviche at the Point (just 10 mins walk down the beach) was great. The beach BBQ on Sunday at Hotel Banana Azul (5 mins walk away) was also great. We highly recommend this property."

"We have 19 days , the house is super well located , the place is quiet , no circulation no music , just the sounds of the birds and monkey . The house is clear and large , there is a patio with 2 hamacs . It is very easy to deal with Jeff and Daniel , quick answer , I wish too return ."

  • Delightful experiences and adventures along the Caribbean Sea coast!

"Casa de la Musa is a great place to stay on the southern coast line of the Caribbean Sea in Costa Rica. The home is located off the main road, away from traffic. You'll hear the ocean waves about 60 meters from the home and feel the breeze from the ocean most of the time. A short walk down the pathway takes you directly to the ocean front. The home is surrounded by jungle and abundant wildlife is seen and heard often. Howler monkeys awoke us and a tri-colored heron fished from the shore. The weather is perfect with warm evenings and days! The home was very comfortable and provided a relaxing vacation. Walking on the beach is easy in both directions. Excellent swimming is available along the beach. We snorkeled just off the beach in front of the house and saw colorful fish. Biking and kayak rentals are available nearby. There are restaurants within walking distance and many more in short driving or biking distance."

  • Fabulous!

"We are a family of four, with children aged 4 and 7, that stayed here for two weeks in January 2017. This place exceeded our expectations, it was perfect for us in every way. Stunningly beautiful grounds, lovely pool and ranchito, and super clean accommodations. The service from Antonio, Steicy and Alexi was excellent. Cahuita is a charming town, tons of great restaurants and the National Park is breathtaking. This place is a gem, and I'd recommend it in a heartbeat. Thanks for a great vacation!"
