  • Welcoming hostess at a great little spot close to everything

"Enjoyed our 8 days at this cozy little cassita close to town. Lisa was very helpful but not at all intrusive, just the right balance. We found lots to keep us entertained and had time to relax at the many beautiful beaches. I would recommend this rental property to others looking for a casual atmosphere with easy access to beaches, town, nature parks, animal rescue centers, bars, restaurants, etc. We did not need a car during our stay, bikes are a popular mode of transport."

  • Beautiful grounds and convenient location.

"Carter and Pamela were very helpful. We were only there a few days but enjoyed our daily outings and exploration of the area. Wish we could have stayed longer. Highlights on the grounds were green poison dart frogs, fireflies, toucans and sitting in the hammocks enjoying the sounds of the jungle. The ocean and town is in walking distance and everyone was super friendly. Found many secluded beaches and loved going to manzanillo state beach at the end. The 15 km drive was amazingly beautiful."

  • Great week with friends

"We spent a week at Villa Noor in mid-January. Our hosts, Cindy and Freddie, were very helpful despite the language barrier. The Villa was well stocked and comfortable. The property felt like our on wildlife reserve where we saw Iguanas, Jesus Christ lizards (those guys that walk on water), toucans, leaf cutter ants, sloths, kinkajou, skinks, blue crabs, butterflies if many sorts including the wonderful blue morpho, moths that look just like leaves, hermit hummingbirds, and howler monkeys! The beach is a short stroll away as is the center of Manzanillo. Manzanillo abuts the Gandaco-Manzanillo refuge where we went for a day long hike with Abel Bustamante. He's a great guide, very lively and knowledgeable and speaks English well. He gave us a lot of tips on spotting wildlife as well as a lot of commentary on life in Costa Rica. With a car, you can access Puerta Viejo (great for surfers- too much congestion for us!) and the mountains easily from Manzanillo though the busses seem to be able to take you everywhere."

  • Dave & Lori (Oct.2016) from Vancouver, BC

"We stayed for 3 weeks in Cahuita. The house had everything and the pool and waterfall were so nice to have steps out the door. The house and grounds and pool were kept very clean. The owners were great. They were there for anything, any questions or any concerns, and they were very accommodating. I can't say enough about them. The town itself is a very neat friendly place. Being there 3 weeks we did get to personally know some of the people. The beaches were amazing, and water so warm and so many neat restaurants and bars to chose from. We have been to the Pacific side of Costa Rica which is also beautiful, however, the Caribbean side wins for us. It is also is a lot less expensive than the pacific side. We will be returning next year and plan to book the same house. It was a great holiday!!!"
