  • Amazing Property!!

"We stayed at Bahia Encantada from July 29th to August 6th. Our unit "4i" was a three bedroom/3 bath unit with a roof top deck. The local grocery store, Maxi Pali, was within walking distance. But if you are picking up a lot of groceries you will probably need to take a cab ride back which happens to be inexpensive. There are several other smaller grocery stores in town. The unit also has a nice washer and dryer so you can pack lighter and just wash your clothes. The property has 24 hour security both at the gate and front of the unit. We never felt uncomfortable at the unit and frequently would walk to town for dinner and shopping. Jaco has amazing restaurants!! Our favorites Christina's (literally right up the street), Taco Joint and Side Street Bistro. Fun stores in town include Tico Pod and Fruity Monkey Poop. Although we were visiting at the beginning of the ISA world surf championships we never saw a lot of people down at this end of the beach. There is a little tidal river to the right of the property down the beach. Cross at low tide and you will think you are lost on a little island. We would swim over off that side of the beach as the drop off of the beach is less making the waves smaller. Although the tide will still pull you. We rented a car one day to go to Manuel Antonio. Pretty cheap. We got a 6 passenger SUV for $97.00 for 24 hours. Every other tour we did we arranged for pick up. We did a waterfall tour close to Bahia Encantada with a super nice host named Christian. He picked us up at Bahia and drove up to the hills up off 34. We had the best time. We also did a zip lining tour with Los Suenos tours which was also so fun. They also picked us up. Willy and the staff at Lost Beach Vacations made renting this property and arranging our tours extremely easy. Great people. Cannot wait to visit again. Pura Vida!!"

  • This is a good place to stay!

"My friends and I stayed for five days in the La Flor and we would recommend it to everybody. All bedrooms are perfect and comfortable! Air conditioners, laundry room and cozy living room make you stay pleasant. The location is good and very close to a beach (1 min walk) and to the city centre (within a 2 min drive). One more advantage of this place is a security. Also, the manager of this property, Stephanie, is super nice and friendly. She gave us a lot of information about good restaurants around and sightseeing. Thanks again!!! Stayed March-April 2016"

  • A Good Condo, Great Locatino

"Bob and Dave were very responsive and allayed any fears about booking this condo. The place was clean and in the perfect location for me and my friends. Everything you need is within walking distance (casino, bars, restaurants, beach and nightlife). This will be my "go-to" place whenever I visit Jaco Beach."

  • Most beautiful, comfortable condo ever!

"We have just completed our second trip to Costa Rica; we love the country and the people! We also love Steve Hooven's condo in Jaco and would not think of staying elsewhere. The unit is absolutely beautiful and has everything you'd ever need....luxurious linens, dishes, blender, hair dryers, etc. Our favorite part is the view from the deck....we begin every morning with coffee watching the surfers, spend the days hanging around the beautiful pool, and end every day with cocktails watching the sunset. The condo is just one block from Jaco's main strip....great shopping, great spas, great restaurants--breakfast at Rustico, dinner at Graffitti,, Lemon Zest, Malecon, Kaya, and Adventure Dining. There is so much to do....rent a car and take day trips....tour the beautiful Villa Vanilla, experience a sunset at Los Calletas, take a trip to Tortuga Island, spend a beach day on Playa Hermosa or on the Whale's Tail Beach and so much more to do. Best of all you will have the owner, Steve Hooven, and his property manager, Aracelly to welcome you, to answer questions and to help line up day trips. Rent this unit NOW! You will not be sorry. The only downside is you will want to stay longer!!!!!!"
