  • High quality and perfect location

"This is a beautiful condo about zero steps from the beach. It is also located almost in the center of Jaco. The condo is very big and the furniture is very nice and clean. The pool area is fantastic and also family friendly. We had a very nice time here!"

  • Family Adventure in Costa Rica

"Our family of six-two adults. two teenagers and two tweens, just returned from an adventure-filled, week-long stay at La Paloma Blanca in Jaco, Costa Rica. It was the BEST vacation our family has ever experienced. We went on excursions during the day and returned by late afternoon for surfing lessons. There is something for everyone to enjoy in Jaco. La Paloma Blanca is luxurious beachfront property, offering spectacular sunsets. We created amazing memories and will definitely return."

  • Great Place to Relax

"Stayed here with four other friends, it was perfect for us. We arrived late but had no issues getting the keys. Rooftop is great but would like to see maybe a patio umbrella. Angel at DayStar was great, he gave us great ideas where to go for short trips. Security guards were nice and helpful. The only sour taste was on our last morning at the condo. We planned to leave at 8:30am so we walked out to our car to store our luggage, came back and we had been locked out. None of our keys worked. We had Cesar call DayStar which took about 15 minutes or more to open the door. Then the lady, Maritza (I believe that was her name), stayed in the condo while we finished gathering our things. She informed us she was there to take inventory of everything. I had no idea she was going to start counting glasses, plates, etc. I was horrified to see my friends give me a surprise look. I was not informed of this ahead of time so it was a surprise. Other than that, I would recommend it. Great time!"

  • Beautiful condo with beautiful views

"Simon manages to offer a beautiful one bedroom condo with two "real" ocean view balconies for less than the Crocs charges for a junior suite ocean view room with a sliding glass door that the Crocs passes off as a balcony. The condo has a full kitchen and laundry facilities. A Crocs room does not. The condo was fabulous. We purchases some food at the local grocery an we were good to go. Plenty of space, two bathrooms, tub and shower, two balconies, eleventh floor. As for the Crocs: the day-to-day staff is great. The two bars offer good food for reasonable value as actually does the coffee shop as well. The Parsley & Pepper restaurant has good breakfasts for reasonable prices. Parsley & Pepper for other meals is a bit over priced for food that is not too special, but it works in a pinch. I do not recommend Adacus - overpriced for simply okay food. There are plenty of great places in town to eat. Everyone loved Tsunami Sushi and Lemon Zest. If you are willing to drive and pay a little (the same prices as Adacus, forty minute drive) - Alma del Pacifico in Esterillos is amazing. Go at lunch because the restaurant is on the beach and you don't want to miss the views. A couple of notes: this is a condo, not a hotel room. Their is no maid service unless requested (and the Crocs will charge). Towel exchange is complimentary. The free breakfast does not apply to condo guests. Expect about $8-$10 per breakfast. Room service is available - but the best food is at the bars (not available for room service) so on a couple of occasions I went down and picked up. Crocs management leaves a lot to be desired. I had a bizarre billing dispute because they were some how confused b/c I paid Simon ahead of time through VRBO. Apparently the condo can be rented through the front desk, but the price is not competitive with the price Simon offers on VRBO. Simon stepped in and presumably chastised the appropriate people and we eventually sorted it out. Just be aware that you are in Costa Rica and billing disputes are common, not just with Crocs. The restaurants are notorious for processing a different amount than is on the receipt. Be prepared with a good credit card or simply choose to pay cash."
