  • me and my kids will definitely be back

"Curt was the best host as usual, he picked us up from the airport, which a safe ride is priceless with little ones in costa rica. He went out of his way to take us to on all the good tours and is very knowledgeable about everything there. Thanks so much. We will be back!"

  • Pura Vida!

"We had a wonderful stay at La Paloma Blanca. This was our first trip to Costa Rica, along with our three grown daughters. This property was clean, had plenty of room, and the view can't be beat! We did not rent a car. Dan Jenkins provided transportation to/from the airport. We relied on taxis while staying at the condo. Taxis are very inexpensive and easy to find. The guard at the property would call for a taxi, and it would arrive within five minutes. We never had a problem, even with 5 of us. Security is always visible on the the property- very safe location. And, yes the beach is just a step off the property!!"

  • Awesome Condo

"Condo is fantastic, on the beach!!! You are close to everything and can walk to all that you need. Condo is very nice and has all the amenities you need. Washer/dryer, great Wifi, full kitchen, A/C, everything you need to feel at home. 24/7 security, and all the guards are super nice and helpful. Dave the owner is great to work with and a super guy to talk to. Very helpful. I highly recommend this condo and Dave, all top notch first class. I will be heading back to Dave's condo real soon. Thanks for a great trip and excellent space to stay for my 2 weeks in Jaco."

  • Awesome Place - great staff

"Melvin picked us up at the airport and had cold beers waiting for us. The staff met us at the house and were super attentive and kept the place spotless. Catherine and Emlio were great and made us some really good meals- I would highly recommend getting breakfast made every day. Keep in mind that the property is a little off the beaten path and it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to get to Jaco by cab. However, the place is so big and the property is so nice we spent a lot of time at the house. The place has Internet and you can plug your phone into the speaker system for music out by the pool. Prepare for an insanely steep driveway when you get there. However upon arrival at the top of the mountain where the house is, the views are breathtaking. I would note that the beach if not necessarily in walking distance but rather a short five minute drive down the hill to Playa Hermosa. Keep in mind that the waves at Playa Hermosa are quite sizable, so if you plan on going surfing and you've never done it before I wouldn't recommend starting out here. I tried to go out there for my second time and didn't last very long. If you are going to get liquor to bring to the place I would suggest getting it at the airport, because the stores in Jaco really didn't have much. There's plenty to do in Jaco. Also, don't bother getting the local currency, everyone will take American dollars if you have them. We took a day and Melvin drove us to Manuel Antonio national Park where we went zip lining and also did a wave Runner tour. That was well worth the trip. Angelo's place was really nice and we plan to go back next year. One last thing for anyone planning to come down here. Don't bother packing any longsleeve shirts or any closed toe shoes. All we needed to go out was shorts and T-shirts and flip-flops. It was at least 90° every day and very hot at night as well. Some of the restaurants in Jaco did not even have air-conditioning. So pack light, you certainly don't need to wear a lot of clothing in Costa Rica!"
