  • Awesome resort! Would recommend it to everyone.

"We had a fabulous stay at the Tulemar Resort. The four of us, including our daughters age 7 and 9, stayed for three nights. The beach was great, with tons of shade, lounge chairs, boggie boards, and kayaks to use. The sand was lively with very few rocks or shells. We would drive down to the beach (although you can take a shuttle or walk, although it is a steep walk back up) and hang out there for a few hours or the full day. There is a beach bar and food service at the beach. The bungalow is quite private with trees surrounding it. We were treated to a group of squirrel monkeys outside our bedroom window eating mangos from the tree on the first day. A sloth was in a tree next to our unit on the last day. We also saw Howler monkeys and capuchins on the beach hike at the resort. An agouti was often wandering around as well. The unit is steps away from the resort restaurant and a family infinity pool. We ate all of our suppers at the resort restaurant. The view from the restaurant is fabulous, sunsets from there were stunning, the service was great, and everything we tried was delicious. I would highly recommend this resort. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. The only thing that could have made this experience better is if we had up graded to a unit with a porch."

  • Once-in-a-lifetime trip!

"Spouse and I stayed at Casa Panorama Lower over the holiday for a once-in-a-lifetime trip. From booking with María through 4Tulemar site onward, our experience was seamless and wonderful. Concierge Kimberly answered all of our questions in the months leading up to the trip and made arrangements that worked perfectly. When we arrived at Tulemar, she showed us around, took us to market and bank, and gave us sound advice. We appreciated how she discerned that we were visiting for more contemplative reasons--checked in daily but gave us room, too. Casa Panorama itself has a beautiful view, and the Tulemar grounds, as everyone else notes, offer wonderful opportunities to see many precious things. The beach is lovely and secluded--plenty of sun, shade, sloths (the people who worked there were patient and generous in pointing the sloths out for eager folks), and squirrel monkeys. It was such a great week that we are trying to figure out how once-in-a-lifetime can become twice!"
