  • Wonderful Vacation Stay

"The villa was exceptional. The views spectacular, and the staff superb. Ricky, our host did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. Our group enjoyed just about every adventure available in the area."

"Our family of 18 - ages 88-15 - spent a fabulous week at Casa Brisas. The villa was spacious, clean, and beautiful. It is located within walking distance to several shops, restaurants and a 5-minute ride to the beach. We rented 2 SUV's and a golf cart - were delivered to the house. Chef Marcos and Freddy prepared the most delicious breakfasts and dinners with leftovers! Some of our family went fishing (on the Frenzy out of Quepos) and Marcos and Freedy prepared tuna and Mahi exactly as we asked. We rarely lifted a finger in the kitchen allowing us to truly enjoy our vacation! Marcos, Freedy and Marta were so friendly and fun - they created beautiful decorations and flowers - making for a festive and fun atmosphere!! Marta (and the other staff) kept the house spotless and was so very thoughtful and sweet! They are very proud of their country and wanted us to enjoy it as well. Jeff, our host, was in constant contact with us and answered every question and gave us very useful information! (Prior to our trip, we spoke with Valerie (who also was a wealth of information) and she pre-arranged activities and equipment for us.) We had a wonderful, carefree, fun vacation at Casa Brisas - one we will remember forever. (Make sure to get coffee & /or the fish tacos from Milagro - across the street from the bus stop - it's the best!)"

  • Perfect winter get-away

"My husband and two kids (5 and 7) stayed at Casa Sandra for 10 nights over the Christmas holidays, and it was just perfect. We generally always rent a car, but this house and the area seems so well set up for tours with transportation and easy taxis from the San Juan airport and back (a 2.5-3hr drive) that we didn't even need to do that. It was almost like a private hotel with the services - the fantastic Angie arranged all of our outings as requested before we got there, and one we added while there, and the housekeeper came several times during our stay to tidy up and change sheets. We made breakfast in and occasionally had dinner in, but it was so easy to walk to tons of different restaurants from the house. It was really spacious, INCREDIBLY clean, had comfortable beds, sheets and towels, and the bathrooms were spacious as well. The pool on the upper (covered) terrace was a great break from the beach (and easy 5 minute cab or bus away - $2-$5), especially for the kids, and the hammocks and hanging chairs were a great place to relax. The view to the ocean for our nightly sunset was also phenomenal. The only downer was that we left our two little tubes floating in the pool, and one day the monkeys caught sight of them unattended and stole them away! They were a real sight. All in all, a fantastic trip and a great place to stay. The owners were also very communicative and easy to deal with."

  • Amazing stay

"If you're going to do the resort thing... this is the place to do it. Beautiful grounds, and the closest we've ever been to 3 species of monkey and 2 types of sloths in all our trips to CR. Great beach. Very nice accommodations. Food in the restaurants was very good, and the concierges were wonderful. Only stayed there 3 days and Ashley helped plan the rest of our trip and made reservations for us. Mangrove tour and the Whitewater rafting were incredibly fun too. Oh... do the sloth tour on the grounds. There was a sloth almost directly above our bungalow for a day and a half that we didn't even notice till the guide pointed it out."
