"We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. A lovely way to see an amazing country. Staff were great, accommodations in good condition. Private beach was a real treat. Wildlife everywhere, great views, and in a nice area. Would recommend the rain forest tour with guide for anyone who wants to see the wildlife - you can do it by yourself but you're going to miss 90% of what's lurking right in front of you. Resort has enough recognizable food to keep middle-school children from starving, but plenty of great native food in the immediate vicinity also. We felt pampered and relaxed the whole time."

"Manual Antonio was the first stop in Costa Rica. We chose the apartment because of the cute pictures online, the great reviews, and the affordable price.
Krissia met us there upon arrival. Everything was clean and exceeded our expectations. There was even fresh local fruit and a postcard for us when we arrived! The apartment has air-conditioning, fans, A small kitchen which is fairly well stocked, not with food but utensils and if you spices. Cable TV available. In a foreign country far away from home, we were able to relax and feel more comfortable. We could eat what we wanted for breakfast lunch or dinner or go out to eat. The supermarket was right around the corner, the town of Quepos right around the corner the other way, and amazing restaurants are within walking distance away as was public transportation.
Krissia, I believe, manages the apartment for the owner, and is a kind and helpful person, answered our questions and offered to arrange transportation and tours for us."

"What a wonderful stay we had in Manual Antonia while calling Casa Bella Vista our home! Chrisi our contact for rental in the states and Sani our contact in MA made our experience just perfect! There were 4 couples traveling together, we stayed for 10 days and this was a great amount of time. We went on many adventures that Sani set up for us but we also had time to lounge and enjoy the house! Everyone we encountered would say, you are in the best home in all of MA. We did look at a few other rental homes as well as a few really nice resorts and we agree! You get fabulous breezes being at the top of the hill, remarkable views and a very large pool. We saw the most jungle wildlife right there in our yard, sloths, toucans, Hollar monkeys, white faced monkeys, little spider tee-tee monkeys just on and on! The staff is wonderful Javier and Dixie are kind, honest people, no worries about your things! Dixie washed and cleaned daily. Our chef, Lili cooked for us twice! What a treat!! She made drinks and served them to us on the rooftop terrace along with appetizers and then set a most beautiful table and served delicious foods , desserts and even would make us a banana bread for the next morning! Sani went with us on a couple of our adventures and we all felt that we had made new friends with he and Lili! You are centrally located in the town of MA and you can walk to wonderful restaurants, Grocies and the beach. We did learn to ride the bus which was .75 and this would bring you back up from the beach and take you into the town of Qupose. There was a fruit market in the town of Qupose on Friday and Saturdays, that was fun! We did not have a car and that was fine. The house is just wonderful, everything that you need. The bedrooms are air conditioned and the house is all open air. The master is really stunning, the other 3 bedrooms are adequate. You really don't stay in the rooms very much as the pool area is where we spent most of our time when not on a wonderful adventure! Sani and staff will take care of everything!! We will all be back!!"

"This house was perfect for our family of 5. The view is worth the walk. The caretaker, Bismark, was so kind and helpful. It's comforting that he lives very close to the house. Beds were nice; kitchen was user friendly. The outside shower was perfect. House was nicely stocked with games, books, and useful picture cards for local animals. We saw tons of animals from the decks - monkeys, toucans, hummingbirds, etc. We enjoyed Bismark's dogs which hung out and made things feel like home. We had a 4x4 and were able to drive down to a beach just below the house (you can park on the beach). House had a small cooler, a few beach chairs and great beach towels. There was a second beach a short drive or walk below the house where you can pay someone a small amount to watch your car while you enjoy the beach. We saw a few sloths here and we rented snorkel gear at this beach. (Snorkeling was just ok here and one of my kids stepped on a sea urchin, but that has nothing to do with the house review). Bottom line, you cannot go wrong with this place. It's in a little community of other houses where you feel close to people (which is sometimes comforting in a foreign country), but it is also private. It was hot as fire while we were there, but there were several fans around the house. It's the ULTIMATE coffee or wine on the deck kind of place. I wish I was there right now!"
