Everything we hoped for!
"Fantastic place! Saw numerous monkeys on our porch. Had a sloth hang out in tree 10 feet from porch. Wildlife everywhere. Exactly what we were hoping for. The beach is private and extremely nice. Service was great. View was was top notch. Actually, the view was better than top notch. Town and supplies are right outside front gate. Loved every minute of it! Traveled with wife and 2 kids/ 3 and 15."

"Starting with the booking process, the responsiveness and thorough information was reassuring, as I had never rented a vacation home outside the US. By the time we arrived I felt confident about what to expect when we arrived (important when traveling with teenagers who can be very critical).
As others have commented, Sani is so much more than a house manager. We all felt he was our new friend in Costa Rica. He showed us the best coffee houses, hang-gliding and rafting outfits, waterfalls, and beaches. All things equal, choose this house due to Sani, you won't regret it.
The pictures speak for themselves, but don't really do justice to the scenery from the balcony. It was everything we were looking for in a place during our Costa Rica vacation. Even the teenagers were impressed!"

"I didn't think this would be the case, but the pictures actually do not do the villa justice!!! What a great vacation we had over Christmas 2016! The house is in a beautiful setting, overlooking the Pacific and surrounded by the jungle. While you can see a lot of incredible wildlife at nearby Manuel Antonio park, we saw some of the most amazing things right from the poolside! From sloths, to 3 different types of monkeys, toucans, and a huge variety of birds ... all while floating around in the pool. There are lots of good restaurants around and a couple of small supermarkets on top of the hill. The path near the house that heads to the beach is steep (especially going back up), but it brings you to the best end of the beach where there are great waves to play in, and palm trees to relax under. I won't deny that there was a lot of walking up steep hills, but using the pools or the ocean to cool off in is just awesome! You can also avoid climbing back up to the house from the beach by catching a local bus (for 60 cents) up to the top of the hill, then walking down to the villa. We did this when we were feeling lazy :) . Chris, the concierge, was super helpful and one of the friendliest Costa Ricans you'll ever meet. I highly recommend this villa. We were a large family group, and it was nice to have this villa as our starting point for adventures in the area, and for some quality family time."

"This is a beautiful home in a very convenient location. The driveway is steep as described and entry into the home itself might be difficult for anyone with physical limitations. Fully stocked with plenty of towels and wash clothes. Plenty of wildlife surrounding this house. We were able to sit in the balcony and view monkeys every morning. We did have some plumbing/water issues while we were there. The house manager tried unsuccessfully to get this corrected during our stay. We were given a partial refund by the owner to help compensate for this inconvenience."
