Recent Manuel Antonio reviews

"We had a family reunion in Manuel Antonio this year and we absolutely LOVED this house. The house is beautifully laid out and each bedroom has a breathtaking view of the ocean. The best part of the house is the amazing help and service of the hostess Laura. We came during a hurricane and she helped us amend our plans so that we still had an amazing trip. She helped us set up a wonderful Chef, private yoga lesson, private massages and a tour of the park. Having Laura there made the trip run so smoothly. Additionally, the house is located in a great location where you can walk to the grocery and some cute restaurants. Every detail of the house and the service was first class. I highly recommend this house!"

  • Awesome vacation!!

"I didn't think this would be the case, but the pictures actually do not do the villa justice!!! What a great vacation we had over Christmas 2016! The house is in a beautiful setting, overlooking the Pacific and surrounded by the jungle. While you can see a lot of incredible wildlife at nearby Manuel Antonio park, we saw some of the most amazing things right from the poolside! From sloths, to 3 different types of monkeys, toucans, and a huge variety of birds ... all while floating around in the pool. There are lots of good restaurants around and a couple of small supermarkets on top of the hill. The path near the house that heads to the beach is steep (especially going back up), but it brings you to the best end of the beach where there are great waves to play in, and palm trees to relax under. I won't deny that there was a lot of walking up steep hills, but using the pools or the ocean to cool off in is just awesome! You can also avoid climbing back up to the house from the beach by catching a local bus (for 60 cents) up to the top of the hill, then walking down to the villa. We did this when we were feeling lazy :) . Chris, the concierge, was super helpful and one of the friendliest Costa Ricans you'll ever meet. I highly recommend this villa. We were a large family group, and it was nice to have this villa as our starting point for adventures in the area, and for some quality family time."

  • Awesome

"Just like home! Clean, comfortable, and every amenity you would want. Awesome views and barbque area. You can sit on the back deck or poolside and watch the monkeys swing through the canopies. Convenient and like 5-10 minutes to Manuel Antonio beachs or Pez Vela Marina. Corner store walking distance and is gated for privacy! Very nice and priced accordingly... Recommended to anyone coming to the Quepos area"

  • Paradise found at Mirazul

"We read all the wonderful reviews before booking our family trip, therefore our expectations were very high. Tulemar more than exceeded our expectations in every way! Mauricio was a gracious host from literally the moment we arrived. The staff anticipated our every need...and then some. The villa and resort property was more beautiful than the pictures. The sunsets and animals take your breath away. This is truly a world class resort. We have found a new favorite destination, and are looking forward to planning our next visit to Tulemar."
