  • Beautiful property, clean and spacious

"The house and property was clean and very nice. The care takers were very friendly. The kids and ourselves thought it was a beautiful place."

  • Great secure location with fantastic views close to paved road, restaurants and grocery store.

"We loved the large covered pool and ability to set the water temperature! The sliding screens were excellent and kept out the bugs. Bathrooms and hot water were also very good. The AC worked great and was needed for sleeping due to the low elevation. Beds, chairs and kitchen stuff we're all "tired" and could use upgrading. We missed having lay-down patio loungers. Noise from the coast highway was sometimes annoying but it was mostly quiet. We spent a total of three months there over two winters and we had a great time! Don't miss the entertainment and food at the nearby Bamboo Room, owned by John and Janet Chantry. It was a highlight and one of the main reasons we returned to the Ojochal area. Ylang Ylang, an Indonesian restaurant and Citrus, another restaurant, have amazing food and are both very close. They shouldn't be missed! There is a market every Friday in downtown Ojochal, starting at 9:00 a.m. where you can get fresh seafood, veggies, holistic edibles and let's not forget Sharon's amazing preserves and banana bread!"

  • Fantastic views

"Loved the house, plenty of room for the 5 guest. Wifi didn't work for us but we survived. Plenty of places to get it when we went to eat. The roads getting there were"something " but it made the experience that much more exciting, but would definitely recommend a 4 wheel drive. Our favorite restaurant was by far Bamboo room great food great prices and fantastic entertainment. The most disappointed we were was about meat to grill it isn't the best quality and it's very hard to find. The fish man is only there Tuesday and Friday at the bottom of the hill. 😚򖡗e missed both days. Beaches were good, the best for us was near hermosa, the locals were selling their wares and the bars were close enough to go for a swim and enjoy a snack and beverage. People were friendly and helpful. Tours we did were ATVs at jungle Atv- FANTASTIC be prepared to be exhausted but so worth it. The water fall and swimming were amazing after the dusty ride.Remember your bandanas and goggles as glasses were not enough to keep the dust out of your eyes.We also did OSA canopy tours again so worth it. Breakfast was a bit hard to find we ended up most days in Uvita at the coffee shop. Great food and drinks for a fair price.Kevin and Christine were great at communicating with us through this whole amazing trip."
