  • Loved it!!

"This condo was perfect for my husband and I and our two college-age kids, but it would be perfect for just about any family. We were on the go a lot of the time but the time spent at the condo was just great. The amenities are terrific. There is a lot to enjoy at the resort. The pools were sparkling clean and the beach club access pass was clutch. We felt so at home at the condo; the furnishings were great and everything you need is right there! A golf cart is a must - a quick trip to the grocery store and you are set to eat at home, even cook out...(and there are even fairies who come in and clean up after you while you are out the next day). But if you are truly on vacation, mom might prefer to eat out, and there are many options for casual dining just a golf cart or taxi ride away. The condo option was truly preferable to the Marriott option for the same total cost. DelMar 4K is the way to go!"

  • awesome villa

"Just returned with three other couples for a week stay in Villa Encantada. Just a beautiful property to accommodate us. Location, location and on the beach. Not many villas of this caliber on the beach which is absolutely beautiful. Words cannot describe the villa and layout. The pictures just do not do justice. It is one of of most unusual properties our group has stayed in. We absolutely loved it and the owner is just so pleasant to work with. Highly recommend if traveling to Jaco...Forget hotels!! Meyline and Johnathan took care of us in very way.We tried to bring home with us!! She is a amazing cook. Please email if you have any questions and will glad to discuss on phone. You want be disappointed"

  • Amazing views, spectacular condo!

"This is an amazing property. The first thing to mention is the stunning ocean views from the family room and each of the three bedrooms. The location will never disappoint. The condo was well equipped and the owners Kerwin and Lisa were very responsive when setting up the reservations and answered all questions. There is a local manager Willy who will help with arranging any tours you want to enjoy, such as fishing etc. We caught fish one day (4 Spanish Mackerel) and brought it to a local restaurant (La Luna) for their preparation. They made ceviche with it and also grilled the rest. It was the best meal we had there. Just amazing and La Luna has a great location with views. There was plenty of fish left which we prepared in the condo for tacos the next evening. We had a party of eight and the condo was plenty big for us all. The only problem we had was water pressure at times, but whenever we reported it, it was fixed after a few minutes. I would easily stay here again as it is one of the most beautiful locations for a hotel I ever stayed at. Oh and concerning wildlife, we saw a couple monkeys and sloths near the hotel and during our 5 minute walk downhill to the local beach. It was a great little beach, but the water wasn't too clear for snorkeling, although I saw some fish near the rocks, but as mentioned clarity is lacking there. Take a trip 30 mins south to Dominical and head inland to the Nauyaca waterfalls. You can hike in or take horseback. It is worth it. Horseback ride is only $70 US per person and includes a breakfast and lunch midway in both directions. Horses were very nice and well kept. We didn't see too much wildlife on that trip, but if you head into Manuel Antonio State Park, you will see plenty there. We saw 3 monkey types, a coati, iquanas, peccary, vine snake and pesky raccoons that will snatch your food from your bags right next to you. This time of year (with locals on vacation too) the park is very busy and be prepared to be around some crowds. This place will not disappoint! Last comment, the restaurant at the hotel is good, but is a bit pricey. Better options are out and about nearby concerning pricing."

  • Beautiful Christmas Vacation Stay !

"With an all around beautiful sky view in the morning, a breathtaking sunset in the evening and an amazing stargazing oportunity from the helipad rooftop; this vacational rental truly made us all feel bliss. The helicopter ride gave us a different perspective of Costa Rica, from the waterfalls, the ocean, to the beautiful mountain tops. Villa 1 was exeptionally relaxing with the infinity pool and jacuzzi, another great place to witness Costa RIcas unique sunsets. 10/10 recommended, and if your into cooking you will die for the kitchen!!"
