  • Outstanding personal experience-Worth every penny

"Third time returning and it just keeps getting better- you get a lot for the cost. Professional yet very personable staff are the best we find in our global travels (spoke Spanish & English expertly). Annabelle & the staff helped arrange a deep sea fishing adventure with HUGE results! Chef Minor & protégé Diego prepared a traditional pig roast which was a unique experience and wonderful in taste. The sushi was expert. All the meals and drinks were excellent. Lots of time to hang by the pool, read, walk, relax in the evening to decompress and escape. But we also enjoyed fireworks overlooking the distant Pacific, played golf, pool, tennis & pickleball. Some days we did nothing at all. Easy to get to from San Jose and everyone in Costa Rica is friendly"

  • Outstanding Vacation House

"For two couples, vacationing together, this house was PERFECT. We enjoyed everything about it. The main living area was spacious with fabulous views of the ocean. We spent a lot of time on the balcony...eating breakfast with GREAT birds, monkeys and usually a nice breeze. The kitchen was adequately equipped for cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner! We used the grill several nights instead of venturing out...very relaxing to have a couple of glasses of wine and not worry about driving! The downstairs bedrooms are very roomy and the double sink bathrooms a big plus! It was also nice to have a washer and dryer. We won't bring so many clothes next year. After a day at the beach or exploring the area, it was wonderful to come home in the late afternoon and cool off in the pool. This house sits on the highest level of the gated community, which we loved. It is on the corner so it feels as if there are no neighbors. The drive up is a bit steep...but worth it. Walking to the beach is a bit of a challenge but we managed a few times and we are OLD. (It is easy to drive down the hill and the beach entry is just across the road.) The local manager, Alex, made himself available...but we didn't really need him for anything. Another bonus...we had maid service and a pool cleaner a couple of times a week. They mopped the floor, emptied the trash, cleaned the bathrooms and changed the beds. A pleasant surprise. We will definitely recommend this house to friends and family...but not until we work out OUR dates to return next year! Thank you Brittany for such a wonderful house in Costa Rica!"

  • Gorgeous Home offers peace and privacy

"We spent 5 nights in the amazing Casa Cielo. To get there, you need a 4-wheel drive vehicle, as it's up (about a mile) relatively rugged terrain; what this actually means, though, is that you feel like you are in a completely secluded place (despite the fact that there are, in fact, other vacation properties around you.) The infinity pool is unbelievable. The home is beautiful. And the serenity is unmatched. You are less than 10 min from Dominicalito's (surfing) beach, and 15(ish) minutes from the adorable town of Dominical. The home's location would you allow you to just escape the world and stay in the entire trip, with a beautiful view and total peace, OR, it can be a great jumping off place to go explore the sights, hikes and beaches of Costa Rica; and it has the best sunsets I've ever, ever seen."

  • A wonderful treat!

"As you've read in other reviews the views from the casita are spectacular and the casita itself is clean, spacious and comfortable. Diane and Peter are very gracious hosts and they have a lot of helpful information about nearby sights and restaurants ready for their guests. Strongly suggest you plan your first journey up the road for a daylight arrival - after that the road becomes a non-issue, albeit for a 4x4. Suggest, too, that you stop at one of the two markets in Dominical before heading up the road to stock up on provisions - once at Diane and Peter's you won't want to turn around and leave on errands. It is a wonderful property and we had an enjoyable three days - we'll definitely be back."
