  • Wonderful stay!

"Two couples traveling together and we can't say enough about this wonderful Villa. When we arrived and Greg was there to meet us. After a quick tour we were on our way to the beach to catch our first sunset. Greg and staff were very helpful with all kinds of ideas for our stay! The apartment was very clean and walking distance to stores, restaurants and the beach was right across the street! The area was very safe and secure! We will return again for sure!"

  • Wonderful Stay

"Our family of six had an incredible time staying here at Villa Manuel Antonio! Let me first say that while searching, I messaged the owner, Laurent, and asked him about public transportation availability and ease as one of my sons is on crutches. Laurent called me to let me know that the transportation was fine, but that there were stairs to our floor since we were looking at the lowest level with a small yard for my children to run around in and search for lizards. He was concerned that my son would not be able to do the stairs and wanted to let me know before I booked the villa. He sent me pictures that he took of the stairs and we decided my son would be fine and continued with our booking. It was nice to see that Laurent's concern was for our comfort and enjoyment, even at the risk of us looking elsewhere if we felt our son would have difficulty on the stairs. So, back to the review... Our villa was located on the lowest level with a small yard and a view of the Pacific and the national park. The two bedrooms have king beds and there is a fold out couch in the living room. The bathrooms are large and the villa is a great place to stay. The kitchen comes with all the hardware for preparing meals yourself. The pool also has a nice view and our kids enjoyed swimming in it. During the morning it is in the sunshine, but after lunch it begins to get some shade to offer respite from the heat of the day. Our kids enjoyed the pool everyday. We also saw monkeys, a sloth, numerous birds and some colorful lizards while at the villa. The location is phenomenal. Perched on a hilltop but only steps to the bus that runs to beaches and the park in one direction, and Quepos in the other. There is no need to rent a car, just take the bus. Taxis were also easy to hail. There are also restaurants nearby (try the Falafel Bar), as well as a Bank of Costa Rica, Economy Car Rental and a small convenience store. There was not a lot of walking to these places so it was perfect for our son. It really is an ideal location for getting to wherever you need to go. As for Laurent, he stays on the property which is such a big help for finding whatever you need. He arranges tours and transportation to San Jose or wherever. He can point you in the right direction for food, groceries or any other needs. He is very friendly and a delight to talk with. It was our pleasure to meet him. We highly recommend booking your stay with Villa Manuel Antonio. You won't regret it!"

  • Great Condo!

"We stayed at this condo for two weeks while in Costa Rica. It was perfect for us. In the heart of the Los Suenos Resort, close to the marina and all the resort restuarants. Ground floor unit was ideal so we were not up and down the stairs with our 3 yr old. We were here during the low season so we literally had the place to ourselves. We saw 2 other people at the pool the entire time we were there with the exception of the last weekend which was Costa Rica's independence day weekend, then it was hoping! There is a market just down the road less than a mile away where we got groceries and cooked several meals at the condo and by the pool at the grill. The pool is literally steps away from the patio. Spent a lot of time at the pool with our son who LOVES to swim, and had some good naps after on the comfy couch! Comfortable beds and plenty of towels. Clean and well equipted kitchen. Fishing, waterfall hikes, Arenal Volcano, Canopy Tram, Tortuga Island (with Costa Cat out of the Los Suenos Marina), Playa Mantas, Playa Blanco, Manuel Antonio national park in Quepos, Dinner in Jaco, Villa Calletas, are all must do's if you visit this beautiful place! We want to thank the owners for sharing with us! We had a great trip."

  • Incredible private getaway

"My husband and I spent the last couple of days of our honeymoon here and it was INCREDIBLE! The drive up is a little intimidating at first but you get comfortable very quickly and the views on the way up make it totally worth it. Rodney was incredible with filling the fridge with necessities, scheduling whale watching and surf lessons and the beautiful flower arrangement he created for us as a "Congratulations gift". Lynne gave us every detail we needed for the area, we fell in love with this particular area after traveling up and down the coast. The house was BEAUTIFUL and so private...way bigger than expected but absolutely no complaints! We loved seeing all the critters roam around outside the house. I will definitely be staying at this peaceful getaway again very soon!"
