  • Burton's 40th Celebration

"We wanted to spend time with our best friend on his 40th birthday celebration so we decided a trip to Costa Rica was in order. When looking for accommodations, we wanted something that could provide us with great views, comfortable living, and proximity to some of the best that the country has to offer. Casa Las Terrazas was able to provide those requirements and more. The house is situated on a hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Costa Ballena (the Whale's Tail) and the views are amazing. Recent renovations provided plush accommodations and everyone felt completely comfortable in our time at the house. The jungle came right up to the property and provided for lush flora and fauna. Bugs were manageable, the internet was non-existent (don't expect to plug-in while at the house), the road to the house was one of the best we have seen on a property like this, the Jolly Roger was a fun escape. Overall we had an amazing time and would recommend the house to anyone that is potentially heading down to Domincal/Uvita area of CR. Pura Vida!"

  • Absolutely a beautiful place to stay!

"Casa Tangaroa is an absolutely beautiful place to stay! There was three generations of our family together for vacation and this hous was perfect for us. With plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, everyone had their space. The views are amazing! The kitchen was perfect for the cooking that we did do, and meals on the deck, looking at the scenery was a great way to start or end the day! We all loved the pool, it was so nice to swim & cool off and plenty of room for all 8 of us! Steve the house manager was very helpful with everything about the house AND helping us set up our activities! We were all so pleased with the house and would definitely recommend it!!!"

  • Highly recommended!

"This is a beautiful house. It's located about 15 miles or so south of Jaco. It is located in a very secure gated community at Bejuco Beach. Not too much going on in Bejuco Beach itself, but there is a nice, very quiet beach there. One day while walking to the beach a large group of scarlet macaws flew down and landed in a tree near us. They are so cool. That was a treat! The house had everything you need for cooking, washer, dryer, and was very clean and well maintained. Each bedroom had it's own private bath. The AC worked great! We couldn't get the wifi to work. It would say it was connected, but we couldn't access the internet. Not too big a deal, my phone worked great there so we could check emails using that. The house is not too far a drive from Jaco where there are many restaurants and shops. There are also several restaurants located on the road between Bejuco Beach and Jaco that are right on the water. We visited many. It is also a close drive to Manuel Antonio National Park. I highly recommend this park. We saw many animals, and the monkeys are all over the beach. The beaches there are spectacular!"

  • A great place near Montezuma !

"I recently finished a one month stay at La Colina. I had previously spent a week there last year and was anxious to return for a longer period this time. I easily settled in and noticed how well provided it is for a long stay with a kitchen that bears many thoughtful touches, good fans for cooling each room, a new washer and lines outside for natural drying and the classic tropical veranda that serves as the outdoor living room with comfortable chairs, a hammock and large table that would seat 8 people. The gardens surrounding the home are well-cared for and I could cut flowers for arrangements. A thick jungle canopy encloses the space on each side for privacy and dips with the slope in front to open for a panoramic ocean view. In front of the veranda were many shrubs in bloom that attracted a dance of multi-colored butterflies and darts of iridescent hummingbirds! After multiple trips exploring all around Costa Rica, this is the spot that feels most like home."
