  • Simply Peaceful

"My husband and I stayed in one of the cabins for a week. We loved the fact that it was literally steps to a quiet, unspoiled, beautiful beach. Every evening we'd take a glass of wine out to the beach to watch the amazing sunset. The cabin was comfortable and perfect for our needs. We left the windows and doors open all night and never felt uncomfortable. The shared kitchen is a unique experience. We enjoyed preparing our meals there and this was a perfect opportunity to get to know the people in the other cabin. If you're craving a rustic, outdoor, unplugged experience this is the place for you!"

  • Loved it!!

"This condo was perfect for my husband and I and our two college-age kids, but it would be perfect for just about any family. We were on the go a lot of the time but the time spent at the condo was just great. The amenities are terrific. There is a lot to enjoy at the resort. The pools were sparkling clean and the beach club access pass was clutch. We felt so at home at the condo; the furnishings were great and everything you need is right there! A golf cart is a must - a quick trip to the grocery store and you are set to eat at home, even cook out...(and there are even fairies who come in and clean up after you while you are out the next day). But if you are truly on vacation, mom might prefer to eat out, and there are many options for casual dining just a golf cart or taxi ride away. The condo option was truly preferable to the Marriott option for the same total cost. DelMar 4K is the way to go!"

  • Beautiful Home, Beautiful Costa Rica

"We were blessed with a trip to Costa Rica and Casa Tica Linda this year. Costa Rica is beautiful beyond description. Fantastic mountains, rainforest, beaches, rivers, wildlife and wonderful people who were kind and generous with their time. We had a great adventure each day. Sightseeing, ziplining, crocodiles, good food and the beaches. A short drive to the town of Jaco for shopping or a little nightlife. Each evening we were able to come back to Tica Linda for relaxation. Tica Linda is a beautiful home inside and out. The living and kitchen area are large with a great view of the wildlife front and back. The backyard offers a private pool and river runs behind it. If you are patient, the toucan and the scarlet macaw “Lapa” or even an iguana can be seen from the backyard. Three separate suites make it a perfect place for three couples to stay comfortably. Everything you need to feel like you are home."

  • Full-service escape in the middle of a tropical paradise!

"We were two families - 5 adults, 5 kids (between the ages of 4 and 9) - that shared this lovely property for 9 nights in August 2016. Overall, it was a GREAT find! The best feature of the house is the staff that comes with it. The primary manager of the property (Jota) helps you with all your needs - from grocery shopping, to activity arranging, to spotting sloths in the trees above. His wife (Katia) and mother (Carmen) prepare 3 delicious (and voluminous) meals daily and clean up daily, too (even making the beds and doing the laundry!). Such a luxury, and such a huge help in really getting to enjoy a proper vacation. The other main advantages of the house...1, the amazing view; 2, the depth and breadth of wildlife that can be seen from its balconies (e.g., monkeys galore; toucans; sloths; iguanas; and many more); 3, the convenient location (just minutes from Manuel Antonio National Park). A few disadvantages to be aware of, though we are still VERY pleased with our stay overall... 1, the swimming pool is on the back side of the house, away from the main view of the sea/landscape below; 2, the common area (living/dining room) is not air conditioned (though the bedrooms all have units for bedtime); 3, the last 500 meters approaching the house are rough and definitely require a 4x4 vehicle; 4, the layout of the rooms may not accommodate all types of families/groups (i.e., in the main house, there are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor, by the kitchen/dining areas and 1 master bedroom upstairs; there is also one room with a separate entrance from the outside just below the living room area; the guest house is one larger space with a futon that can sleep 1 or 2, and there is an extra room around the back of it with a separate entrance as well). Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property!!!"
