  • Beautiful House

"We stayed at Casa Alegre for 6 days. Our group was 5 adults and 5 children ranging from 9-16 years of age. Everyone loved the house and we all slept comfortable. The layout of the house is very nice and the house feels very cozy. The pictures on the site represent exactly what the house looks like. The house was clean, pool was well-maintained, kitchen was well equipped with enough pots, pans, even a griddle making it easy to make breakfast. The pool is as big as it looks in picture, kids loved it and having your own private pool is always awesome. If you wake up really early and some evening and sit in the back porch you will see beautiful macaws flying by or sitting in the trees in the backyard, they are breathtaking. The location is great you are only 3 min from Playa Hermosa and very close to some other beaches too. Your also only 10 min from Jaco, which is a cute little town with lots of souvenir shops, restaurants. We took a drive to Manuel Antonio National Park, it was very easy to get there with GPS and took us about 1 hr 15 min. It is worth it to go they have beautiful beaches inside the park and you see lots of wildlife, monkeys roaming etc. There are many restaurants within 5 min from the house and the kids loved PizzaPata which served very good pizza and is only 2-3 min from house and they deliver too. The owner Paul, did an amazing job making the whole process go very smoothly. From getting back to us immediately so we could book the house, to making payment, giving directions to the house, giving us the keys and checkout. He was extremely accommodating and even texted us to make sure everything was going fine during our stay. I would highly recommend this property and when we go back we will be contacting you Paul. Pura Vida!!!"

  • An Amazing House in Paradise

"This luxurious residence helped us have an awesome end to an already great trip to Costa Rica. After spending 4 adventurous days in the Arenal Volcano area, we spent the last 4 days of our trip relaxing in this spacious home in Manuel Antonio. Framed in wall to wall windows, we had a perfect view from every location to see the mountains to our right, the ocean in the distance and every shade of green around us. Sunsets were spectacular! We hardly wanted to leave as it felt like a piece of paradise right there with an elegant infinity pool and the sounds of the water falling to a smaller pool below the main floor. Wildlife surrounded us with many species of birds to view such as hummingbirds, macaws, melodious blackbirds, and Tanager’s. It was common to see black iguanas, lizards and a variety of colorful butterflies. We were lucky to spot a group of squirrel monkeys climbing on a nearby powerline. The AC was a huge plus in the private bedrooms but we opened up every door and window for fresh air with cross ventilation in the main area. Our girls felt they got the best room in the house on the bottom level. It was spa-like with the sounds of the waterfall into the smaller pool outside. All bedrooms were spacious and clean. Vanessa was there to greet us answering questions, getting us food, making reservations for excursions, and kind of at our beck and call. She recommended Chef Xavier for one day to cook meals. The kids all still say this was one of the best days of our trip. They watched him prepare each delicious meal! Well worth every penny. We are ready to go back…Pura Vida!"

  • Pura Vida, Costa Rica!

"Our stay at Los Suenos was absolutely wonderful! Luis, our concierge, made sure EVERYTHING was taken care of and that we had the absolute time of our lives. Luis gave us excellent restaurant and excursión recommendations and took care of any needs we had along the way. The resort is beyond beautiful. This is truly Paradise! The condo was phenomenal and I can´t say enough positive things about Luis. We will definitely return to this Paradise!"

  • Highly recommended

"My girlfriend and I stayed in the cabina for a week and it was incredible. Cassidy and Rayna made planning the trip a breeze, and Guillermo was very helpful when we got there and always responsive whenever we needed a ride into town. He was ready with the boat in Sierpe when we arrived, loaded our luggage into the boat, took us to SDP (10-15 minute ride), and then walked us up to the cabina and pointed out a few things, including the group of howler monkeys sleeping in the trees, during our walk up. The 95-99 degree heat was a little intimidating at first, but the ceiling fans in the cabina make it much better and at night it would cool off to upper 70s which made it very comfortable to sleep in. The walk from the pier to the cabina is uphill and can seem somewhat steep in parts, but makes it all the more worth it as you progress from the mangroves and forest floor to the canopy, where you're cabina is sitting perched overlooking the surrounding rainforest. Plus, you get used to that walk very quickly during your stay and we had some of our best wildlife viewing while walking on this trail. There are also numerous trails to hike throughout the property. I personally recommend the mangrove trail, which takes you through the garden where you can find some fresh fruit and then it proceeds along the river. We stocked up on some fresh limes and enjoyed them with our imperial beers. We just about ran out of batteries for our camera and took over 300 pictures during our first couple of days, which shows how much you can see while staying at SDP. One of our favorite moments was hanging out on the porch in the rocking chairs and seeing a three-toed sloth lounging high up in a tree during sunset just 100 feet away from our porch. We also took the kayaks out on the tributary near the pier and I tried fly fishing for a bit, but had no luck. My favorite activity was the night hike with Cesar. He is very knowledgeable and took us out on his farm and pointed out some amazing wildlife. It is a must for all adventure seekers! We also recommend getting out to Isla del Caño for a day, whether you snorkel or go fishing. They picked us up and dropped us off right at the SDP pier for all of these trips, which was very convenient. The town of Sierpe is full of friendly locals as well as a few shops and restaurants. If you love wildlife, hiking, camping, being remote, exploring, etc., this is the place to be. We will be returning here again in the future. Thanks again, Cassidy!"
