  • Pura vida !

"I spent two weeks in this condo, and the first thing i would say is that it is the perfect way to reach the costa rican pura vida spirit ! As a french surfer i woke up at 5 am to surf the pure waves of the Jaco bay ! 30 seconds from the door of the condo ! Then i used to have breakfast at the argentinan bakery situated at 3 minutes riding a bike ! I could refresh myself at the pool, or read a book in the condo then... I could Meet the other people in tres regalos or talk with the employees who are amazing ! This condo is perfect because if you want to be alone or spend time with your family you can but on the other hand if you want to meet people and have a drink at the Croc s casino or Claritas bar, spotted at the side of tres regalos you can too ! I recommend this place to everyone who wants to spend really cool and relaxing hollidays in family or in couple ! Have a nice time Pura vida"

  • Very, very nice!

"Several of the reviews for this property convinced me to rent the place for a few nights. To tell the truth, it's a amazing. The bungalow is not only on a private property, isolated -but very close- to the local shops and restaurants of Manuel Antonio. It is also amidst the jungle! The sound of the local fauna will gently wake you up, and the rain on the shingles rooftop at night will provide a relaxing sleep. Everything was in working order too, well-maintained and we had room cleaning service every day. The place has also a secluded beach, where the kids had a blast with the kayaks, the boogie boards, the hermit crabs, the monkeys and the sloths - yes, all in the beach. The staff was very helpful and attentive at all times. Julie from the rental company also was great in her response times and was a deciding factor for us to choose this place. This is one of the few places I would most likely stay at again!"

  • Sublime experience and setting

"I have lived and worked in Costa Rica for 20 years and while this country is stunningly beautiful it is rare to find properties which combine, luxury, tranquility, and a setting which celebrates all the natural beauty without sacrificing luxury. Villa Toucan Breeze give you the best of both worlds. The setting in the unique Guapil Tropical Estate community gives you a convenient location which is close to the communities of Dominical, Hatillo and Manuel Antonio but a world apart. You drive through the rainforest up to the home, which appears like an oasis of luxury in the middle of the rainforest. The views are never ending, from Cano Island up to Manuel Antonio. There are amazing breezes at the house and we had daily visits from the toucans, Pizotes, white faced monkeys, and a host of other creatures and birds you would need a biologist to identify! The house itself is spacious, perfectly equipped and was awesome. I was there with my family of 4, inlays and another family. there are effectively 4 master suites, so everyone has their space and privacy. the kitchen has everything you need and while restaurants are nearby, we just relaxed, cooked and let time slip by. The enormous pool and landscaped gardens had us outside from dawn until well into the evening, just enjoying the breezes, views and wildlife."

  • Super fun

"Gorgeous grounds, away from everything, and so much character. We loved it here. Also, having our first breakfast groceries taken care of, umbrellas, a bag of charcoal, and a full box of dry wood for the fire pit were very nice touches. Don't miss Nauyaca waterfalls nearby! They're truly truly amazing. Before booking , you MUST know this is not going to be a luxury resort experience. There are no glass windows, only wooden panels that completely open, you pretty much live outside, in the heart of the jungle. One of the casitas has no walls at all, you're sleeping outside, with a roof over your head. It's very fun and romantic, but just to give you a sense of what it;s like, the swimming pool 8 feet away is the night home of 6 to 10 green frogs, 1 huge toad, and the cutest little baby boa (about 18 inches long). You can find them in and around the pool most nights. We found the boa chilling on the outdoor shower floor one evening. So if this doesn't sound like a fun adventure to you, you will not be happy here. A couple little things you might also know beforehand: - The beach is about 25 - 30 minutes from the house by car. - You MUST have a 4x4 to get through the 2km of rocky paths of the main road. - Wifi is slow. It works, but if you need to get work done, I found my cell phone 3G connection to be faster, so plan accordingly. - It's very difficult to get anything to dry because of humidity. One towel per guest was provided, but I wish we had a few more. - We discovered that what looked like a bookshelf between 2 doors in the main house was actually a ladder to a loft with 2 twin mattresses. Maria hadn't show that to us, or maybe I just misunderstood since I don't speak Spanish, but this was very useful since we only had one couple in our group of 6. I would definitely come back. Amazing jungle home."
