  • Review of this villa

"First the good news. Costa Rica is great, and the Nicoyan peninsula is really laid back and wonderful. Also, this house is eye candy. Montezuma and Cabo Blanco and St. Theresa and Mal Pais are all easily reachable, and the property manager Juan Carlos was very helpful. The house is very lovely, but is not "comfortable"; it needs lounging furniture, indoors and out. Also, if you plan on having sex, you better invite everyone in the house, as there are no indoor walls, and every sound can be heard in every bedroom!"

  • Killer views! Costa Rican Comfort in the Clouds!

"Absolutely killer place to stay in CR. Hands down some of the best craftsmanship in any rental I've ever stayed in. The open air kitchen and infinity pool are where it's at. Sweet location, Total relaxation."

  • Property is EVERYTHING that it proclaims and MORE!

"We LOVED staying in this house. It was so open and beautiful, like being one with nature. I think my favorite part of the house was the outdoor shower. Once you get past the bumpy road, you may not want to ever leave the property. A very peaceful place surrounded by all Mother Nature has to offer. Very neat and clean and not far from attractions."

  • Amazing experience

"The entire experience was unforgettable! Sean was very attentive and went above and beyond answering our questions before the trip. We arrived late, but followed the instructions and were able to get in without help from the housekeeper. However she arrived shortly after our phone call to show us around. Our 10-day stay at this property was PERFECT! the house is truly unique, very comfortable, the location is ideal - close to the grocery market, a few eateries, and off the main road, which made it secluded and tranquil. We came to practice silent yoga, and in search for privacy, but yet - experiences. We got it all! Instead of guided tours, we had a neighbor's dog showing us around. She helped us explore different places every day - took us to the island, to the river, to the Cabo Blanco national park. On the last day she wanted us to meet her owner, but we couldn't - we were still practicing silence. The beach is rocky, so don't forget to bring the swimming shoes. Then you won't have to look for a nice entry - the spot right in front of the house is good for swimming early in the mornings and in the afternoons. The location was so private that you are surely to feel on a deserted island most of the time. And yet - just a few hundred meters away there is life with a few bars, music, extremely nice people. And Montezuma is only 7 km way. If you are into yoga - there is a place in town that would organize yoga classes and fire ceremonies for you. But if you come to connect to the nature - all of it is delivered to your door: the monkeys, the chickens, a ton of beautiful birds and huge butterflies, of course the iguanas and so much more! Many thanks to the owners and the housekeeper - we truly felt like a family, being treated with such kindness. Amazing place! We are sure to be back for more!"
