  • Shangri-La in El Salvador

"If you want to discover the beauty and charm of El Salvador, this is the house to rent and discover this endearing country. The home has every western amenity you could possibly want and yet still retains the flavor of the natural environs. There is a pool, which is lovely for those who like to swim in a pool or lounge by one, but the beach is right out front and gorgeous. My husband is an avid surfer and found a break right out front with no one on it! Our son and his friends got to watch hatching turtles by moonlight and witness their march back to the ocean, memorable. We had a car so were able to drive to La Roca and surf there too. - -This is beautiful country and beautiful home-- you won't be disappointed.Magical!"

  • Unforgettable trip!

"Amazing location looking over surf point break of El Zonte. Surf is fun and basically down a few stairs. Very accessible and friendly locals. Me and 3 sons had an amazing trip surfing and loafing in pool and hammocks. Mike was very accommodating and arranged maid and cook and rides. Delicious dinners after surf days or tours all ready for us at our place. Comfortable home with AC in rooms. Took 3 trips with Rivas a great tour guide. We went to waterfalls with rocks to jump off, Mayan ruins and tour of volcanic sites. Very informative. We felt like we got a taste El Salvador-the culture, the history and the people. What a cool country. We felt safe and completely at ease. Highly recommend Casa Bendicion for an unforgettable adventure and great surf destination!"

  • Beachfront Treasure in Little Known El Zonte

"My family and I spent 8 days here over Christmas and we couldn't have asked for anything more. First off the live in host family (Mario and Marina) the stay relaxing by cooking the most delicious meals we have ever had while on vacation and touring us around for supplies and to attractions. They don't speak much English and we speak even less Spanish, but through hand signals and a translation App communication was simple. Mario and his family are very special people. Now to the property. Tia Tita is everything as advertised and more. It is situated right on the beach where 80 degree water awaits to go tackle the waves. We swan several times everyday we were there. The beach was never crowed and a couple of days we had it pretty much to ourselves. The pool is small, but very refreshing after some suntanning. The temperature was between 93 and 96 everyday with no rainfall. The property is well maintained everyday and the layout is perfect. There is a two tiered gazebo that overlooks the ocean that we often sat on the upper deck for hours. The sunsets and sunrises are the most amazing we have ever witnessed. If you are looking for rest and relaxation mixed in with seeing some of the country this is the place. Not being at a resort and still not having to worry about preparing your meals makes this place special. We always felt safe off the property and everyone had an "Ola" and a smile to offer. Finally, dealing with Gordon was easy and smooth even if he gets the arrival date wrong lol. Sun, fun and relaxation is what Casa Tia Tita is all about. Check it out, you won't be disappointed."
