  • Absolutely perfect.

"Our group of 5 women rented this house for a week-long vacation. The location is perfect. Two blocks from the square, and within walking distance of everything in Antigua. Safety was important to us, and we felt perfectly secure in this house. The maid and the guardian both did a wonderful job, and were helpful and courteous. The pictures don't truly convey how beautiful this property is. The house is huge, with four bedrooms opening off the courtyard. Each bedroom is beautifully decorated and has it's own bathroom. There are two additional bathrooms near the kitchen and the pool. The property is spotlessly clean and completely private, and the double-glazed windows and shutters do a wonderful job of keeping out any noise from the street at night. The pool area is amazing, and includes a sauna as well. We had breakfast out by the pool every day and it could not have been more peaceful. We wish we didn't have to leave, and hope to return soon."

  • Great centrally located studio apartment in Antigua

"I had a chance to spend eight days here in February. This well furnished studio apartment is located in a safe and secure neighborhood within walking distance (be sure to watch your step in Antigua) to restaurants, shops, the central plaza, churches, and bus station. The apartment has a huge, comfortable bed and a huge, comfortable sofa facing the windows. Windows overlook the quaint roofs and churches. In the distance are volcanoes Fuego and Acatenango.. On a clear day you will spot Fuego venting puffs of ash. Sunrise and sunset are beautiful. The kitchen has eating and cooking utensils, range, refrigerator, coffee maker, and more. Wi-Fi connection was excellent. When I arrived the apartment was very clean and the maid went beyond the call of duty. I would highly recommend this apartment for one or two travelers. I would not hesitate to rent this apartment on a return trip to Antigua."

  • Wonderful Beach Vacation

"We spent 2 beautiful weeks at this little slice of heaven. We had a group of 9 and we had plenty of room. We loved the outdoor spaces, especially the big kitchen area where we could prepare and share meals. The pool was awesome, and a great place to cool down on hot, humid days. The beach was a treasure, the waves were amazing, and it was like we had the place to ourselves. We even had the chance to release baby sea turtles to the sea...priceless! The best thing about our vacation though, was the people. From the caretaker, to the boat driver, to the staff at El Capitain, and the owner we were always treated like royalty. This location is remote, very safe, and the weather is warm! There is plenty of room for a large group."

  • Great location, wonderful house

"The house is beautiful, comfortable, and definitely has all the modern conveniences one could want. One of our favorite spots was the u-shaped couch in the patio that looked out into the enclosed garden. What a great place for a good conversation or just sitting and mediating. All the beds are very comfy, the furnishings are a feast to the eyes as they are mostly typical weavings and such, and the entertainment room with the four single beds is well-stocked with movies and some games if you don't even want to step out the door. The house is conveniently located - far enough from the town center to be quiet and peaceful, but close enough for a walk-able jaunt up to the center, a straight shot to the main park so no confusion there. The neighborhood has a little park which our kids enjoyed. The one thing that caused annoyance at the house was the hot water showers, which for whatever reason wouldn't simply maintain a steady temperature but would fluctuate widely. I'm accustomed to on-demand heating systems but I've never had this particular problem happen before so I wouldn't know what to say the reason is but perhaps it's fixable. Everything else about the house was so fabulous that I wouldn't consider it a reason not to return."
