  • 5th Stay at this Great Condo!

"Obviously, I love the condo, the resort and Roatan, as this is my 5th stay. Had my teenage/adult kids with me on this trip and we all had a great time. The condo has such wonderful air conditioning - it's truly refreshing after a few hours out in the hot, humid sun. We had no issues with the condo or staff and everyone was very pleasant and helpful. It's no wonder I keep returning! The snorkeling was great, as usual. In my opinion, the Argentinian Grill has the best food and service on the beach and we highly recommend taking a trip to the Sloth Farm and Little French Key to have some amazing animal interactions and view beautiful beaches."

  • Perfect condo at a great property

"About the condo: great size, well stocked, comfy bed. Being in the back of the property didn't bother us one bit, on the contrary: it was always quiet at night. Having the fridge and kitchen was great, we got supplies from the west bay market (one min walk) and made great sandwiches with meats from their deli (they slice it fresh for you, plenty of choices of meats and cheeses, lovely people) About Infinity: phenomenal staff, always ready to make your day a memorable one. Ziggy at the bar deserves a special mention, as well as his Monkey la las. Swiss Chocolate is always smiling, a pleasure to hang out with. Cold beer, great pool, amazing beach and snorkeling. The nachos are plentiful, the fish and chips are great and the fish tacos are really good! About the experience: the beach is lined with restaurants/bars, we would go for a walk for dinner and had some good food! Bananarama's Thirsty Turtle makes great drinks, calzones and curry. And don't miss movie night at the beach on Tuesdays! During the day, we would stay at our beach chair and had chicken empanadas from the guy that sells at the beach. Luis comes around a couple times a day, it's great value and honest food. Also loved the kid who sells fresh diced fruit (in a pack with a disposable fork), $1 gets you a mix of watermelon, pineapple and cantaloupe. Don't miss it. My husband got certified to dive in West End, and the water taxi being in front of the property was great. The same boat waited for him every day, it worked for both parties. West End is cool and worth a quick visit, but there is no doubt that the best place to stay is West Bay! We had a blast."

  • Best vacation ever!

"Part of me doesn't want to give such a great review but I truly feel I need to. We traveled just after Christmas, my teen son my preteen daughter and husband and we're the kind of travelers that would rather never see another tourist at all. Let me say this place fit us perfect. Phones turned off only electronics we brought were a laptop to do workouts for my son and a jambox to listen to music! We brought our own snorkeling gear but could easily go next door to the reef house to get everything we needed for a low price. Convenience of a well stocked grocery store easily finding EVERY AMERICANIZED name brand need. Also there's a little store the key quicky store just in case u need more bottled water. The house kitchen is as equipped as my own at home! I love to cook! Only thing I found funny missing was a pizza cutter. lol but who but us would eat pizza on an island! George the caretaker and water taxi driver was so nice and accommodating! Offering to help us with anything and everything! Gina the house lady also cooked us up a local meal that was delicious. I cooked almost every other meal and we only ate out twice. I do recommend eating at the reef house next door. Delicious! And Elam (not sure if that's his name) the fisherman - wow - talk about fresh fish! King crab, grouper, snapper and my favorite LOBSTER! Fresh and cleaned and did I mention fresh!! Exactly what these landlocked seafood lovers dreamed about having available. And lastly the view, the water experiences! Everything from seeing puffer fish the size of a large dog to the schools of parrot fish and more! I suggest a visit to the iguana park and ziplining tour that Dave the taxi driver would take you to. So awesome. We spent most of our days in sheer comfort. The breezes with the open doors and windows in the main living area to the extreme comfort and luxury of air conditioning to sleep in. Large rooms and huge bathrooms. Plus ability to wash clothes! It was just as fun to piddle around in the pool out front as it was to go beyond and find the reef literally out the back door to see gorgeous God made entertainment. We didn't even turn the tv on (well maybe 2 times) which had cable (my daughter however loved the kids channels in her room). Books, games, art supplies, I mean this home was I would say better than a home away from home! Dave, Gina, Elam, the reef house people and most especially George helped make this trip an awesome one for my entire family! Thank you!"

  • Nice Stay

"Our stay at Villa delfin was a great experience. We stayed there for a week, in the Studio unit. There is a few other units on the property including the owners. Carleen and her husband were very friendly and even gave us a lift into town one day. As far as the property goes, it is quite nice and very well maintained and most of all very safe! The Studio apartment is great for a couple. It had all the necessary amenities we needed, and the large refrigerator was great for storing our drinks and food. There is also plenty of parking if you decide to rent a car or scooter which we did as we wanted to explore the island. The Studio sits on the 2nd floor, so you get a nice strong breeze in the evening which was nice. The apartments sits up in the jungle away from the beach. Although you can take a short walk down to the nearest beach area to catch a water taxi, but walking back up the pretty steep hill is not much fun. There are no stores or restaurants nearby, so you have to walk down and catch a water taxi or call one from your unit. Although I think there was a restaurant /resort down by the beach area but we did not try it. So if you prefer to be away from everything and everyone then this complex will be great for you. But if you like the convenience of all the options at West Bay or West end like we did, then you might want to stay closer to the hustle and bustle. We would definitely recommend this rental property to our friends and family. Thank you for your hospitality, Carleen! :D"
