"We recently enjoyed a wonderful week at Seagrove Retreat. So many activities from kayaking (singles/doubles with paddles provided) , great snorkeling nearby (gear provided), paddle boards, swimming in the pool or off the dock. Which is always refreshing. Junior, Franklin and/or Tommy (care takers, who are the best!) can arrange most anything you need. From shuttle to and from the airport, to stopping by a large grocery store, and boat taxis. Call Marvin for a boat trip down the coast line (highly recommend this) , or lunch at Hole In The Wall for lunch or other places. Spend your happy hour fishing from the deck of the casita or dock. Mostly small fish so for us catch and release, but much fun. Early in the morning you will see the school bus boat pick up children and a fisherman came by the dock to sell us lobster. Seagrove Retreat is peaceful and quiet, always a breeze so sitting on any of the decks provides a perfect place to relax and enjoy the view. The houses are tastefully decorated and furnished with all your needs. All was well maintained and clean. Make sure you stock up at the grocery store as Seagrove Retreat is in a beautiful secluded area, with a rocky road and steep hill to get in and out. There are a fair amount of stairs on the property, we just viewed it as daily exercise. The owners Paul and Julie are delightful and will answer all your questions. Looking forward to our next trip to Roatan and would definitely stay here again!"

  • Best vacation ever

"Thank you Gilles for letting us use you condo. Gilles always answered my question within a few minutes. The condo location was perfect, second floor far enough away from the pool that would at times be kinda crazy. If you are looking to stay at IB find out where the condo is before you book half the buildings have 4 floors I saw big families on top and that's to many stairs for me. This was my first time to use vrbo and it was great check in was easy. It was nice to have a fridge with ice and water you can drink. We thought we would do more cooking but we are divers and after doing 3 dives a day I didn't feel like to cook dinners everyday. We made our breakfasts and lunches and ate out half the time for dinner. Plenty of places walking distances to eat. The air conditioner work great maybe to good when we left in the morning to go diving we always turned it way down and it only took a few minutes to cool down. We stayed 11 nights and think the biggest mistake we made was we left to soon. Next time it's going to be at least 2 weeks.. Once again thanks."

  • Unreal

"Look, I understand how someone could give this a three-star rating if they are expecting to be in walking distance from other stuff, need air conditioning, etc., but that is not what this place is about. Yes, the grocery store is 20 minutes away, but on the bright side, you are 20 minutes away from civilization in your own private paradise. My wife and I went with a couple of friends, none of us had kids, and we initially had certain expectations, like restaurants close by, internet/phone service, air conditioning, etc., but all of that goes away after your first couple of hours there. The internet didn't work, and I'm glad it didn't, it was an escape from everything. We actually forgot one of our suitcases, turns out we didn't even need it, just need bathing suit and a pair of shorts for an entire week. As for air conditioning, there was a constant cool ocean breeze all day and night, didn't need it. The staff was great, didn't get in our way at all, but were seconds away if we ever needed anything. We literally had our own private reefs right in front of us. You could take the boat out to the deeper reefs, kayak and drop anchor at some other reefs, or just jump off the boat dock and float through some of the most beautiful reefs until you reached the other dock, and then repeat all day every day. We never saw or heard any other boats or people, except for the occasional local fisherman who shouts up to you to see if you would like any live crab or lobster. Who needs civilization when you have this at your fingertips? There was a sound system so we could play our ipod outside, tv with dvd and satellite tv, so you could still stay connected to the world. If you are the type of person that needs to go shopping, go to restaurants for all of your meals, and needs to be entertained, then maybe this isn't the place for you. If you are looking for a great escape from the world, THIS is the place for you."

  • Memorable Vacation

"The timely, effective assistance and follow up by property manager Kathy prior to our arrival, coupled with the cozy accommodations of the condo, made our stay not only pleasant and relaxing but also, stress-free. Great Argentinian food is right in the vecinity of the hotel. And if you are a pizza lover, I recommend you check out a place just a few meters from the resort beachfront. Finally, a solicitous staff at the Infinity Bay resort took good care of us during our four-day stay at the island, all of which paved the way to enjoying Roatan’s unmatched natural beauty. Highly recommendable! On behalf of all my family, thank you Kathy, for facilitating this memorable vacation in Roatan."
