  • Amazing House!

"I've stayed in a lot of hotels and homes on the island of Roatan. This is my favorite! The front of the house is right on the water. The house is built over the water. It's so pretty and peaceful, beautifully decorated and has a great layout. I love that all of the bedrooms are separate from each other. I stayed in the front room over the water, incredible. The internet works great and it has cable. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the pans and utensils you could ask for. It's on a concrete road with a nice entrance. It has a huge generator so you'll never be in the dark. It's in a great location with everything a quick taxi ride away. It's great for star gazing and peaceful mornings. One night I was out staring at the stars and a dolphin jumped about 30 feet from the dock! AMAZING!!!! Kayaks are ready to use and easy to get in the water. I can't say enough about this beautiful home. Lisa was so helpful making sure I had everything I needed and the place was immaculate. I loved it!"

  • There is nothing better than having the sand and water just feet from your front door!

"This was a very comfortable place for 3 couples. Each couple had their own bedroom and private bath, along with patio doors to access the deck. The house is located a short walk to the main road, where taxis would run frequently so all we had to do was walk up to the road and hail a taxi for any of our destinations. We went to West End a couple different times and just walked down the street. We shopped, drank and ate at many of the different bars, restaurants and street vendors. We went to Coxen Hole one night and went to a real local place for drinks and music and they adapted to us well! We tried to visit with the local people as much as we could. Most everyone could speak English but if they couldn't, they never made us feel bad for not knowing Spanish. Very friendly island. We did hire a couple young men named Rudolph Green and Chris Amaro, (both can be found on facebook), to give us a tour of the East end of the island. They were very friendly and informative. We got to hold the monkeys, we were treated to a local dance while we were in the Garifuna community of Punta Gorda and we took a water taxi to a great little place called The Hole in the Wall. We would highly recommend them! The property was as it was explained and Vanessa did a great job. My luggage was delayed for a few days and she even took me clothes shopping. She also shared her favorite Sashimi recipe for fresh Tuna. We went deep Sea fishing with Enry and we caught Tuna and Barracuda. When we got back, we hired a local cook (Shindy) to come in and prepare the meal for us that evening. Another nice feature was that most of the neighbors stopped by just to make sure everything was going good for us and to see if there was anything they could do for us. We all felt that the next time we come, we would like to stay longer as there is so much to see and do! Thank you for sharing your place with us!"

  • Absolute best location on the island

"My husband and I always rent a house or condo when we travel and I am very thorough in my research of places. I was selecting this place based on being able to snorkel off the beach in a place where the reef was fairly close to swim to. Also we didn't want to be in the crowds of West End or West Bay. The snorkeling was very good right on location especially around the boat dock marina believe it or not.Lots of sea life, coral, sponges, etc. The kayak availability was always there of course. There was literally no one every on the beach: we had it all to ourselves. Lawson Rock should have someone raking the beach however of debris. The rest of the stretch of beach does have debris as well but it seemed like some of it got raked up during the week. The island as a whole needs to address the garbage issue as it is finding it's way to some of the beaches and ultimately water. This beach is also a very long stretch to walk on which is rare on the island. We love to walk and the only other place to walk is the road and it is very narrow. Not an ideal environment. However Lawson Rock ( which is the development of the condo) does have a gym. I tried to use the bike but it is very old and not a good model. The treadmill was broken. I didn't really like the eliptical but suppose others might. The lap pool was delightful and I had the entire pool to myself whenever I went. In fact the other time we really saw other people was at sunset on their beautiful dock which had an upper and very comfy lower deck facing that direction. The condo itself was impeccable . Extremely clean, and well maintain. Very comfy beds, robes and all amenieties of a hotel. Internet and TV channels, DVD player excellent in all bedrooms. AC was get . Our pool was right there on the ocean. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. In fact we loved it so much we went real estate shopping and still loved this place the best. Might buy a place."

  • condo in paradise

"This is an amazing resort. The layout and the grounds are absolutely amazing. The condo is steps from a beautiful beach that is keep spotless. The pier is wonderful for watching the sunset. I highly recommend this unit for anyone going to Roatan. And if you are a diver, Blue Island Divers are a short walk down the beach."
