  • Third Time Here. We defintely will be back

"This is our third stay A St. Macs Upper. I honestly think that this is the best rental property in West Bay. Your views are incredible with your private beach area. The open structure of the house combines the dining, kitchen and living area into one with great great room with two double sliding doors that provide access to a huge deck overlooking the beach and the beautiful Caribbean. Your privacy and security is assured with 24hr. security. We are definitely going back."

  • Beautiful home with fantastic views.

"Beautiful home with fantastic views and walking distance to West Bay Beach. This home is stocked with everything you need. Close to West Bay Beach, yet the home is very private. The home is very clean with an outstanding kitchen. Watching the cruise ships coming and going was great. The maintenance worker (Tree) very reliable and available and the gardening staff also very nice. The management people were also very easy and friendly to work with. I would highly recommended this home and would also rent in the future. Bananarama was a great dive shop to deal with, small and personable. We have used them previously and will use them again. Thirsty Turtle a great place to go for drinks and entertainment. One of our favourite places to eat was The Hangover Hut, the best chicken pouting and wraps ever. Also try a Michelada drink. Overall I would rate the home, location, people as a 5 star."

  • The best vacation we've been on

"Our group of 8 had the privilege of staying at L'Alize for the last week for our friend’s 50th birthday. We knew our stay would be amazing the minute we walked into the house and saw the views from the balcony. The home sits between lush trees and has an amazing ocean view. The home was very spacious four our party of 8, with four bedrooms - two on pool level and two on upper floor. The main floor included the kitchen which was very well equipped and a balcony that we used often to watch the stars at night or enjoy the daily breezes. We rented the van and paid the additional fee to have Eddie drive us. I would highly recommend doing this as the roads in Roatan are filled with many holes and could be difficult to navigate as a visitor. Eddie was so accommodating and always arrived early with a smile on his face. It was also very easy to reach him with the loaner cell phones that were provided to us. We had the privilege of having Dulce cook for us several times while we visited. Her cooking was by far the best food we ate while in Roatan (I didn’t love the restaurants we ate at). She was so sweet and accommodating. Everything was delicious. She was involved in an auto accident the day we left. We would love to hear if she is doing alright. We enjoyed many activities during our stay. We ziplined, took a mangrove boat tour, hung out at several local bars but “Hole in the Wall” with bartender Captain Ed (who makes a good strong drink) was our favorite. Our favorite activity was taking a private boat trip to Cayos Cochinos. Our tour guide Osman who is located at the Bananarama Roatan Activities booth in West Bay was absolutely amazing. I highly suggest doing a tour this way even with the cost being $150 per person. Drinks, beer, vodka, rum, sodas, juices, water, lunch (coconut rice and beans, plantain chips and local fresh fish) snacks (fruit platter, chips and salsa) were all included. We visited 3 of the 15 islands, were able to snorkel and get to meet the Garifuna community. We truly felt like celebrities with Osman taking care of us. Be aware that the boat ride is about 1 hour. If you get sea sickness (like me), you will want to bring Dramamine. The only thing I recommend bringing with you is bug spray (that contains deet). We didn’t have an issue with bugs at L’Alize however anywhere we visited had bugs and we were bitten. Finally, the owner Rosanne was VERY easy to work with and was fast at communicating with me. She answe"

  • Great conod, perfect location

"We stayed in this condo for 10 and it was perfect. Gilles was very quick to answer all questions before the trip and while we were in the condo. He also allowed us access to he's locked cabinet that offered some additional items that make the trip so much easier, spices, additional cooking utensils etc. . We stayed at Infinity Bay 5 years ago in building 1 which can be a little loud at times. We found this units location perfect. It's still close to the beach and pool but so much quieter. It's the perfect size for a couple. The patio also sits back so there is lots of privacy from the other units. If we go back we will definitely be trying to stay in this condo again. Thanks Gilles for making the arrangements so easy."
