  • Wonderful relaxing holiday

"My husband and I spent three wonderful weeks at Casa de Paradise. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained and it is like having your own private beach. We spent hours in the water just steps outside our door. Everything you need is there for you. There were a couple of issues that came up while we were there, but between Marisol and Myra everything was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance and be sure to check out Carla's beautiful jewelry."

  • An Experience That Will Stay With You Forever

"I had such a memorable time at the Sunset House; it was such an enjoyable experience. The Sunset House is in a prime location between the West End and the West Bay, making access to fun activities a breeze. The house has so many fun and thoughtful amenities that it truly reflects the manager's mindfulness in making certain that guests are beyond satisfied. Subtleties that may go unnoticed, like having staff--who I must mention are kind, thoughtful, and very helpful--constantly rake/turn over sand and spraying plants to keep unwanted pests away made our time at the home extremely comfortable. Other things, such as paddle boards, kayaks, snorkeling gear, ping pong table, hammocks (ohh how I loved the hammocks and their location on the property), a Bluetooth speaker to blast music while swimming at the dock, night lights under the dock to see beautiful sea life... the list goes on! Wake up, grab some breakfast, then a kayak with some snorkeling gear, paddle out about 100 yards (no joke!), and snorkel the coral reef and its lovely creatures that will literally have you in a state of awe--it's like Finding Nemo all over again! If that's too far, there are lively creatures to see right off the dock--sting rays, small jellyfish, numerous kinds of exotic fish. I decided to go for my PADI certification on the island where one of the most beautiful scuba locations I went to was right in front of the Sunset House!! Sea turtles, sting rays, magnificent coral, and uncountable variety of fish! Want some fresh lion fish tacos? Walk on the dock and get water taxi that will take you to the West End. Or head out to the West Bay to have some Monkey Lalas (a unique island drink that's all over the island) with my all time favorite fresh sea bass fish and chips (I'd get the fish and fish it's so damn good). All in all, the manager's/owner's effort that goes into this place is palpable and made my experience priceless--thank you!"

  • beautiful

"We recently enjoyed a wonderful week at Seagrove Retreat. So many activities from kayaking (singles/doubles with paddles provided) , great snorkeling nearby (gear provided), paddle boards, swimming in the pool or off the dock. Which is always refreshing. Junior, Franklin and/or Tommy (care takers, who are the best!) can arrange most anything you need. From shuttle to and from the airport, to stopping by a large grocery store, and boat taxis. Call Marvin for a boat trip down the coast line (highly recommend this) , or lunch at Hole In The Wall for lunch or other places. Spend your happy hour fishing from the deck of the casita or dock. Mostly small fish so for us catch and release, but much fun. Early in the morning you will see the school bus boat pick up children and a fisherman came by the dock to sell us lobster. Seagrove Retreat is peaceful and quiet, always a breeze so sitting on any of the decks provides a perfect place to relax and enjoy the view. The houses are tastefully decorated and furnished with all your needs. All was well maintained and clean. Make sure you stock up at the grocery store as Seagrove Retreat is in a beautiful secluded area, with a rocky road and steep hill to get in and out. There are a fair amount of stairs on the property, we just viewed it as daily exercise. The owners Paul and Julie are delightful and will answer all your questions. Looking forward to our next trip to Roatan and would definitely stay here again!"

  • Condo was wonderful! Infinity Bay and Roatan was amazing!

"This condo was beautiful, wonderfully stocked and out of the three condos that were rented for our group of 12 people, yours was in my opinion the best location. We appreciated that the kitchen was so well stocked with nice pots and pans and kitchen ware. We had so much fun and didn't have to go far to find it! My son and I enjoyed using the free kayaks at the resort, paddling out over the reef was beautiful! We took a water taxi one afternoon to the West End for a bit of souvenir shopping. We went on a 4 hour fishing charter and had a blast! We caught barracuda and black fin tuna. My son, husband and I finally had the opportunity to try zip lining! That is something we had wanted to experience for years. I can't imagine a more beautiful place to do it! Zipping over the jungle looking out over the waters of the Caribbean was incredible! We all enjoyed hours and hours of both day and night snorkeling. Although I did not participate in scuba diving or parasailing, several in our group did and had a wonderful time. All of these activities were booked through Infinity Bay and everyone was always well attended to and enjoyed wonderful experiences. The staff at the resort were absolutely wonderful at all times and very pleasant to work with. The security was also very very good! We felt safe at all times and enjoyed visiting with the staff. We became friends with two security guards in particular. For meals we took turns cooking communal meals between the three condos rented by our group to help keep food costs down. This was a fun way for our whole group to come together at the end of the day. We also enjoyed dining at a few of the restaurants along the beach. Many offer great specials. Our favorite was the Argentine restaurant on the beach. Our second favorite was Celeste's seafood restaurant which is on the main road that the resort sits on as you walk toward the little market. Our condo manager Kathy was absolutely wonderful! She helped us have a stress free, trouble free time on our vacation by being quick to answer questions, respond to emails etc. from the first time I inquired about renting the condo clear through to the end. She shared a wealth of knowledge with us which was very helpful. I look forward to working with her again and hope to be able to rent this condo for years to come."
